That's a good stragedy... anyway back on topic, I haven't play MKTriology in a long time. I just play MKDA now!!! I guess it would be a good idea to play it and bring back old memories!!!.....

I haven't been "preparing". Just when I heard about this game and it's returning characters. I had the sudden urge to play Trilogy and MK:DA again.

Yeah, I began playing trilogy again last night. Unfortunately, the backwards compatibility issues with trilogy on PS2 suck.

Right there with you. I remember that Trilogy was one of the few games that had a problem on the PS2. I was playing the other night and gave up because everytime i one the first round, it would freeze and i would have to reboot. AHHHH $#@#@!!#


My hopes are for a newer version but that will probably never happen.

Yeah, I have been playing MKT lately actually. But like the other people, it keeps freezing on PS2. It's still fun to bask in the nostalgia of it.

Trilogy freezes on your systems? The only time it freezes on my PS2 is when I beat the game, and all I get is a black screen with music playing in the background. But all of my matches in 1-player mode load up fine.

Actually, there's a sure fure way to do this--make sure you DON'T change ANY of the options under the "Game Configuration" menu (except for MATCH RECYCLE--you can chnage that one). And under the "?" menu, if you change anything at all, only change the "Health regeration" and "Low boss damage" options. If you select anything else oother than these, it'll freeze up every time. Try it--I tried it through a lot of experimentation and it actually works! Please let me know!

But getting back to the main topic.....I've been playing Trilogy almost as much as Deadly Alliance lately. I loved Trilogy a lot because of the vast amount of obscure characters that were playable--Noob Saibot, Rain, Masked Sub-Zero, and the bosses.

I played DA a lot then I just put it down again. lol.. can't wait for Deception though.

I know there are 2 versions of MKT. I bought mine when it came out and after a year I bought one from a friend. I believe the version that works best is 1.1. Which mine are not.

I am getting syked to meet most of you online. I hope Deception will be well worth my time.

I wish they Remake Mortal Kombat Trilogy Saturn version on Xbox and PS2 with online play and no loading times.

I loved to play as Classic Sub Zero and Goro.
i think the graphics should be the saturn version. Mortal Kombat Gold should also be on PS2 and XBOX as well. maybe have MK:Gold and MK:Trilogy "maybe" should be bundled since they are classics

I have been playing Trilogy on my PS2. It doesn't freeze. I have been playing trilogy more than MK:DA lately. I have Nightwolf unbeatable at the moment.

Best way to beef up for the new MK is to play MKDA. Its the closest thing to it. Practicing MKT wont help, the fighting speeds and the entire engine is different. You have to learn MK all over again basically.
