alright i see there are posts of mk tournaments but im gonna throw up a new one and combine it with this or that.
rules:
*must pick one mk character doesnt matter who
*must match up that mk character with someone outside of MK and post what game this character is from.
* there will be no time limit, the cut off for voting will end with each end of the page or if the voting has noticably stopped which ever should happen first. so page 1 will be one match then when its filled up first post for page 2 will start a new match-up.
*must be honest, we all love mk here but dont pick all mk characters just because your a fanatic. there are plenty of characters that could whoop up mk characters and likewise mk can whoop them up.and note that we are not voting on games vs games its characters vs characters
*to save room for voters i ask please IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHO THE CHARACTER IS THAT MK IS GOING UP AGAINST PLEASE DO NOT VOTE THEN. I just want an honest vote and if you do not know who the character is then obviously you cannot give an honest vote.
lastly have fun.hsmilesmilesmilesmilesmile i will post the winner of each page after that page has closed out

Well, Killer Instinct had wonderfull graphics at that time. However the character concepts were sometimes off the hook for me personally. I mean: come on, Glacius/Sub-Zero and Spinal/Havik or Meat.
Now who got the better designs? A dancing skeleton or a Cleric of Chaos?
My vote goes for Smoke.

spinal was out before havik or meat, and reptiles mk4 look is a copy on raptor, kai is a copy of jago, hell even the robots are a copy of fulgore. ki did not suck at all.

I vote for Fulgore, he looks much better than the grey palette swap of Cyrax and Sektor that Smoke started as.

maybe Spinal was out earlier, bu the concept award goes to Havik. And
this applies to Fulgore vs. cyborgs, Glacius vs. Sub-Zero and so on and
so on. K. Instinct was a very good game tough.

Honestly can't see anyway smoke could beat fulgore in head to head. FG has too much going for him his smokes abilities for the most part plus some more. No way smoke can hang with FG or really anybody on mk vs anybody on KI cept for the crappy characters on KI2 they all sucked besides tusk. Tusk > all

Fulgore was the lamest in the Killer Instinct series for me. I always used the Raptor or Glacius, and sometimes what was her name? Orchid against anyone. He wasn't that bad, but he lacked some things in the game. His design was cool by the way.
Tusk was a idiotic concept for a character: a barbarian out of nowhere? Then again, I never played that much with KI, so corrections are in place

Ki was sooo lame imo I mean a werewolf? a skeleton? a dinosaur? a ninja? a robot? chief thunder? that boxe dude TJ Combo (lmao...TJ..lol)? a girl? a gargoyle? a tarzan clone? a being made of ice? a being made of fire? LMAO, KI was the lamest fighting game I've ever played when it comes do character designs, with the exception of fulgore, although I prefer smoke, imo fulgore is the most decent character in KI, and the name Fulgore is really cool
one thing I liked about KI was that scream COMBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Smoke, fulgore really sucks compared to Smoke. And the worst thing about Killer Instint for me was listning to: K-k-k-kombo breaker!!!!!

i got the count at 8-6 with smoke on top. i am not marking comments made on which game is crappy or how much you liked it. like i said the vote is character vs character not the game. Yes MK might have more graphics than some games that characters are being set up against but the character quality and moves, so on are whats at test. remember character vs character not ......"well that game was crappy so i go with mk"

i said in the rules that the next match-up would start each new page but i see that the decision is seen.. smoke wins with an 8-6 count. The next match-up starts now with:

for my vote personally i dont know. they both are tight and remind me of bruce lee, especially liu kangs first fighting style in MKD. it would be hard and a good match up but i would in the end go with liu kang pulling it out by a close one.
