OK I just went to videogames.com when u go to there codes for mkD it has this:
Super Unlockables: Play as Motaro
Finish Arcade Mode at the Hardest Difficulty Level without using any continues. Then enter Arcade or VS Mode and highlight Scorpion. Then Hold Square+Triangle+R2. When the fight begins, you will be Motaro Play as Motaro

Just tried it and got schooled on the first match with no time limit and turtling like a madman. It was already on 80% difficulty and apparantly Kenshi's sword attacks are unblockable. Huh...whoda thunk it?
Anyway, kinda ironic that the "Motaro code" just happens to be so hard that no one can do it. Maybe because it's *cough* bullshit *cough*.

well if you try to input the code on the select screen it takes you back to the main menu. That should be enough to tell you its BS.

i hope this isn't true at all....but if this is true,well what a waste of space....there are much better choices for SU like Quan or Shang....i see Motaro useless and dumb,imagine when you control him,that would be a pain in the neck....no way.

Generally stuff up on Gamespot is pretty legit, but im still wary myself. Question, there was a way for people to cheese it have Liu Kang an Raiden and everyone if im not mistaken unlocked with just a cheat, shouldnt there be one for this as well?

well followed those directions and finally did it but it does nothing... if you select those buttons it backs out to the main menu when you hit triangle... and if you select him then hold them nothing happens.... so unless im doing it wrong it's bs....

This trick is now also posted on Gamefaqs.com, which only further fuels my confusion.
Has anyone else tried this. Not that I don't believe you, I just like to hear things from a few sources.

yes someone else try this... i followed what was said but didn't get a thing... but if it's still being posted someone else need sto try it... im going to attempt it again now to see.... i still say bs but im willing to try again... but more ppl need to do this to confirm it as bs or truth...

I think you are suppose to hit the code before the match starts and not at the select screen. Try that. See if it works.
