About Me

When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yes sir, the check is in the mail."

This is the Porkchop Express, and I'm talking to whoever's listening out there...

Jack Burton is just tossing this out there to solicit some feedback. Mind you, I'm rather indifferent on the issue I'm about to raise, so by all means, please feel free to say whatever you need to.

The question: Should Mr. Freeze be in MK vs. DC?

Some people I've spoken with seem to think of Mr. Freeze as being a better match-up for Sub-Zero than Batman, as the game's main site depicts. Others would like to leave him out of the game to make room for other DC characters; the majority who have taken this stance feel that since Joker is already confirmed, there really shouldn't be another villain from the Batman universe.

With that said: what do you think?

Uh No. I don't think he will be in it. Really, theres many other characters to choose from.

I'm anxious to find out whos going in the MK side though.

There are already three characters from Batman. There are also two characters that can freeze people. Mr. Freeze would just be one big redundancy, given the current situation.

I know I said I was somewhat indifferent, but I was honestly thinking the very same thing...Sub-Zero vs. Mr. Freeze...well, they kinda cancel each other out in a way.

to be fair catwoman is famous enough to be classsed as her own character rather then a "batman" one, she had her own comic series and a film (albeit pretty awful)

that said mr freeze is not needed in this game, their are other characters that could be included that could bring far more then he could,

I think poisen Ivy would be quite cool,
or even Bane??

No, Mr. Freeze should not be in MK vs. DC.

- There are far better DC characters to choose from.
- Just because he has an ice gimmick does not make him a good or better parallel for Sub-Zero.
- We have enough Batman related characters as is.

I would've thought the obvious redundancy of Mr. Freeze in a game starring Sub-Zero was a more pressing concern than who's getting how big a slice of cake...

Not that diversity isn't important. I reckon I can think of about a hundred characters from around the DCU who should take the spot before Freeze.
