So, lets take a look at what we have here.. We have a game they seem to have taken FOREVER, to make.... and from what we know, its not what we wanted.. and thats fine.. We have to look at it for what it is:

I think this game is a savvy business risk they are taking.. it could put them in the good graces of DC and Warner Bros.. That could do Wonders for the Mortal Kombat franchise... Thats one aspect of this MK vs DC thing...

Heres another.. Personally I think that MK vs DC is the MKteams way of testing the waters.. They are building up a new fighting system.. they are working with newer technology... they are trying new things... Thats fine.. Its their way of expiramenting.. If we dont like what we get (and im not talking about adding dc characters) Then they know what works and what to Improve on... But if people like the Fighting style, if people like the move sets, and the new upclose fighting... well then it was worth them testing the waters.

THE NEXT GAME: With the core technoloy in place for this game.. and with their experience with that technology.. I dont think we will have a very long wait for Mortal Kombat 9. Im willing to bet that they have MK9s story in place or atleast already have an idea for it. And with everyone saying what they wanted in MK vs DC that they didnt get, they will have a great idea what people will want for MK9..

Im not thrilled about MK vs DC, but if it leads to an Amazing MK9, then I think it is well worth it that they get their testing out of their system on THIS game rather than the NEXT.

Once again, we have someone making their own thread about something that has been discussed WAY too many times.

Yes, we all know everything you just said. It's just a waste of time to repeat everything we know into your own words. I'm trying not to put you down, but seeing how there are just so many people that are either too blind or lazy to see that there are threads for these kinds of things, you may as well just put them down. But I'm not that kind of a person who just trashes threads, I'm just saying this:

Expect to see more comments like these becuase people have already created their own opinion threads and they all get closed because they don't see that there are threads for these kinds of things.

But to say a few things about your comments, I highly doubt that MK9 will come to us soon. It never took a long time for this game to be created. People stated on this site that the company likes to make games in order and come out during that specific year.

MK8 - 2008, see what I mean? The only reason I can think why you thought it was a long wait, was becuase there was basically no information about the game until the end of March early April. But that doesn't mean that this game took that long to create, no, they just wanted to wait until Gamer's Day to actually show us what they've been doing very secretly.

MK9 will not be even starting to begin until several months passed after the release of MK8, you and several others think WAY too fast on this site and not giving this new game a chance. I know you didn't actually say that you're not going to give this a chance, but I beleive anyone who mentions anything about MK9 are judging this crossover game too quickly.

Why not you and the others just wait until something interesting happens with the game... and when I mean interesting, I mean wait until we get the release day and have the games in our house.

CHEERS!

As soon as this news came out I felt like the team is becoming less intuitive and original. Does anyone remember X-Men vs. Street Fighter? We've seen franchise mergers before, and I just don't sit well with the idea of taking core elements of Mortal Kombat and replacing them just to duke it out with comic book super heroes? I would have thought a Mortal Kombat vs. Killer Instinct would have been a better cross over but that is just my opinion.
