I think you might be right. I believe Ermac may be neutral or good. His look would probably make you think he is evil, but I think it's just a front. It'd also make him a really good spy of sorts.

My story;ine for him is this:

Ermac:

Now free of Shao Kahn’s control, Ermac is ever greatful to Kenshi for freeing him. As a being of souls, Ermac now feels it is time he departs from the known worlds. But first, he wants every trace of Kahns legacy destroyed. This included all of his minions. Since Kenshi was after Shang, he decided he would join his new friend in the hunt for the sorcerer. However, after finding Kenshi near death, Ermac and the souls within him are angered to an extreme. Their new friend had been hurt. The rage within Ermac from the souls produced a great power surge. Some of the souls flew out of his body and into Kenshis. Their mystical energies restored Kenshi to proper health before returning to Ermac. Ermac vowed to help his friend find Mavad

No problem man. The story was written awhile back as a means of giving a reason as to why ermac could be back. I don't believe that will be how it is or the reason why at all.

I think Ermac will have hidden motives in this game. He'll be an interesting character to watch.

Ermac is made up of all the souls of earthworld,which is under the control of Kahn so I don't see how Ermac can make his own decisions when Kahn can take back his souls from him.

earth world? you mean earth realm? he was made up of a collection of outworld souls but not all of them.. every soul has its own will kahn was just minipulating these souls, he no longer is under kahns rule kenshi freed him. heee can do whatever he wants.
