I finally got the game and let me say that it is the most fun filled game that has ever come out in quite some time. The modes and loading times are in top form. The fatalites work perfectly and the Death Traps are crazy.
GRAPHICS: Same as MK:DA, great. No proplems here.
SOUND: Some of the music tracks are odd, but there is always the option to turn them off or just lower the volume. The sound effects are in top form. Not over the top. Just right.
FUN FACTOR: Lots of replay value. Tons of secrets to uncover.
MODES: Konquest mode is acually very good. You search around the whole areas of each world for unlockables and coins, fight alot of people and the graphics are very interesting as to what each world looks like. The voice acting is laughable, but this mode is not about any movie awards for acting. Puzzle Mode is like any other puzzle game, the fatalites and small characters are interesting. That's all I have to say about that. Chess Mode is very cool and has alot to offer for anybody. The Kombat is the same as DA, with a little speed put into the fight.
ARENAS: Crazy. Not every single one has a weapon or Death Trap. The Bettle Lair has no Death Trap. That sucks, but what are you going to do. Overall, very playable arenas. In one of the unlockable photos you find in the Krypt tells of a possible ice lair stage that is unlockable!
CHARACTERS: Lots! Some cheaper then others. Nightwolf is by far the most easy to learn and master. Sub-Zero is one of the more difficult to learn. The Dragon King is a cheap sob, but the computer isn't worth playing unless you REALLY want all the endings unlocked. The AI is a pain in the ass, really. Harder then any other MK game. Raiden is against all the humans in his story. Talk about a pissed thunder god! The opening movie is very awsome.
Anyway, that is my take on the game. Any questions, ask as I have gone through lots of Konquest mode and unlocked quite alot.
