I know how you feel. It really is supposed to be called Hara-Kiri and also just like with the Ying/Yang thing, it's supposed to be Yin/Yang.

thanks but i'll call it whatever i want until the game actually comes and see what how they spell it in MK. why is there so many people acting crazy about a simple name or words. sure a lot of people spell it differently like...

Thank you...! Im very happy that they finally changed it to hara-kiri. its japanese and means suiced. hari-kiri, hari-kari means nothing. So why using an word that means nothing.

well, im not here to argue but you do have a point. its just that i hated that people are trying to correct other peoples choice of spelling. let them (or us) spell it the way we want and until MK comes out to see the EXACT wording on how MK spells it, we will spell it the way MK spells it. (hopefully)

I actually looked it up under all of the different spellings, and they all were correct apparently, whether it was hara-kiri, hari-kiri, hari-kari, john-kerry, hara-kari. All we know, is that the official MK:D spelling is "Hara-Kiri".

if in japan the fatality would be spell futulity everybody who is good in english would think the development team is dump.
You know i have a japanese friend and that what he thought about this hari-kari word.
For me its confirmed now that Hara-kiri is the way they spell it in the game (darrius hara-kiri)

It was originally called "Hari Karis," Boon said it himself. Now they are officially called "Hara Kiris."

Well, try saying Hari Kari in the tone of voice that is in the game and then say the Hara-Kiri

There's no "get over it".

It's not a word the MK team decided to invent for their game, but actually an existing japanese word. Is that so hard to understand? You can't compare it to the K in Kombat.

That would be from a english speaking person's point of view. But it's the way the announcer says it if I'm not mistaken...

And I think Ed Boon should be ahsamed of making such a stupid mistake when he said to the media that HARI-KARI's would be in the game, only to change it after noticing he screwed up.
