Yeah sounds great, but only as a short clip 
But I really like the idea. Midway could release some short clips like this.
That would be awesome. But not for a trailer.
But still sounds good, as I read it I was liturally picturing how this might
look, aha awesome :)
Hey did you get the cat's name from the old Batman TV series ?
I remeber her cat being called Midnight...I think...good times :)

LOL, thanks. I actually got midnight from(don't kill me" the catwoman movie. I wanted Catwoman to stay Selena Kyle but I wanted to throw hints at the movie and also Batman Returns with the whole "licking face" thing.
And king of kings, I get sick of just the same old characters promoting everything.

EXT NIGHT
Shot of the black sky -- the roar of a storm as chunky rain falls in streaking lines.
Camera pans slowly down across a dark (graveyard) landscape.
A faint "tink tink" sound, like tapping on glass, gradually grows ever so slightly louder, as the camera pans across revealing the dark, muddy landscape.
A steamy mist creeps into frame as we circle around the legs Sub-Zero, whose cold is freezing the raindrops before they hit him. He turns slightly into his own close-up. His pale eyes are squinted -- focused! In a neutral, but ready stance, he leans his head toward one shoulder, all of this revealed in a brief moment punctuated bya FLASH of lightning and a CLAP of thunder!
Cut to a wider shot of Sub-Zero in a muddy open area -- the centre of the graveyard level. The fssssh of the rain is broken by a sudden rustling. Sub-Zero turns quickly as we go to another tighter shot, revealing behind him the black silhouette of Batman leaping through the air, lit only by another flash of lightning that outlines his cape.
Close to the ground we see past Sub-Zero's out-of-focus boot, to see Batman in the distant mid-ground rising like a living shadow. Another flash of lightning punctuates the drama.
Tight on Batman as he squints intently to a fast zoom out as he whips his arms out from under his cape (with another flash of lightning) and tosses a batarang in Sub-Zero's direction!
Almost too fast to be seen, the batarang whips past Sub-Zero, who turns to watch it hurtling through the rain, into the darkness of the graveyard. The projectile buries itself in the chest of a Tekunin warrior that drops to it's knees as sparks burst from the wound of the imbedded batarang.
Pull back fast over Sub-Zero's shoulder (still looking at the falling Tekunin fighter), to Batman who retracts his arms back into his black cape, whilst still maintaining something of a ready stance.
Tighter on Sub-Zero, facing away from camera, as his hunched shoulders start to vibrate. At first the muffled noises are obscured by his back and the rain, but as Sub-Zero starts to flex more the abstract noises start to become more clear.
Zoom to a close-up of Sub-Zero who, bathed in light by another flash of lightning, spins around to reveal his contorted face bobbing behind the mask as he cackles with insane laughter. His cheeks and eyebrows raise almost beyond a natural grin.
The rain begins to turn to a misty haze as Sub-Zero gathers the moisture around him toward his hands.
Back to a tight close-up on Batman who lowers into a more readied stance, and squints his eyes once more.
BOOM!

Very cool! I like it
I would only change the ending though. It could be cool to have it end with both characters on-screen somehow, then have the BOOM or the image fading for a more dramatic effect.

Actually, it could work fantastically as a trailer with less dialogue imo.
And I agree with you its time to see more trailers and awesome cinematics featuring more then Subby and Batman (or Scorp and Super as its possibly to see happening soon).
