During the intro of MK6 it could show a flashback of Shao Kahn leading an assault against King jerrod's kingdom. Jerrod, adorned in Edenia armor, is shown battling the invaders. King Jerrod, an extremely powerful and skilled magic knight almost defeats khan, noob, tsung, goro and the other outworlders in an epic battle. However, as more of Khan's reinforcments arrive through outworld portals, he becomes overwhelmed. Khan leads a final assault on Jerrod's palace and slays the mighty king in a decisive duel. Edenia now belongs to Shao Khan. Fast forward to the present. In hopes of attaining a powerful ally, the Dragon King is seen chanting an ancient and powerful incantation that ressurects the once proud Edenian king. But DK soon discovers that Jerrod is too strong for even him to control. Jerrod kills the Dragon King in a fit of rage as he remembers what has happened to his once glorious kingdom. The fallen king now sets his eyes on conquering Earth to rebuild it as his new Edenia.
