Hmm ish, I like a lot of it but you've made Sub-Zero look so weak, and the battle for earthrealm is betwen the dragon king and Kano??? I like how you got it to that situation but it doesn't seem right.

I personally am going for Mavado's DA ending where he kills Kano and decides to go after the Lin Kuei after Quan Chi shows him.

The early parts are too Dragonball Z for my liking.

It's good though, I liked reading it, any chance Ermac, Kenshi, Mileena, Baraka, Sindel, Smoke, Kabal or any of the other Deception characters making an appearence?

Hey guy's don't worry because this story is going to be 3 times the size it is now, more characters will appear and oh, the final fight won't be between Kano and the DK, it will be him and someone else, Get ready for some surprises.

Wow that took me forever to read, i cant imagine how long it took you to type, damn! Anyhow, I really liked it. I liked how you took little bits and pieces form a few games like blaze on the bridge. I liked it a lot, but to me, way to many main characters died. Thats just my opinion, but i did rally liked it, I cant wait for the next part/s. Good work!

You also need better writing skills. You're suppose to quote characters, otherwise it doesn't even look or sound right, and paragraphs should look better. With the way you wrote it, I had a headache (literally) trying to read it.

The story itself, while decent, was full of cliched elements. Kitana dreaming of Kang, the group "sticking together," as well as others (some verbal cliches).

You get a 5/10. Primary reason being you can't write properly. That's a BIG part of writing. Secondary reason is the story itself. I just couldn't get hooked (partially due to headaches), and a lot of elements were very cliche to me and seemed to be almost just "thrown in." Some events happened particularly too fast, and seemed more random than anything. Sorry, but this could've been SO much better.

I thought the Noob vs Nightwolf + Blaze was a bit Dragonball Z style, the weaker fighters staying to distract so that the one who has to save the world doesn't get distracted, after Liu Kang left that scene could've ended, it just gave a bit of the lesser important characters their chance in the spotlight, they didn't add to the main Dragon King storyline.

I'll give it a 7, I'm sure if it was going to be written out properly as a story being released rather than just being posted on a forum then you would've done the wording and punctuation etc. correctly.

It's still a refreshing read from the same sort of stuff the real MK games pump out, they not really that detailed compared to this story.

Don't take it as a flame. I was just critiquing.

I'm also going to point out that a story is still literature, and punctuation and format still matter. "This is the internet" is a common comeback to that, but it matters here more than anywhere else.

I know you didn't mean anything by it wanderer but it took me a long time to write this and I made it especially for THIS site. I'll look into what you said though, later.

wow... wanderer and scorpion15152004 were kinda harsh... criticism is 1 thing, but wanderer you ripped the story a new @$$ hole... and scorp, i've got no beef with you but don't accuse someone of plagerism w/o proof... if u had seen the story somewhere else, you could have at least given a link or something to substantiate your claim... the simple fact that it may look similar to another fanstory (coincidence perhaps, or maybe a few borrowed ideas) is not adequate enough to warrant proverbial finger-pointing and accusations of plagerization props to elder_god for some good ideas with imaginative "what ifs" and for taking the time to write the story but i have a couple of thoughts: 1. if you have the time to write such a long story, spend a little time editing it. Polishing grammar, punctuation, etc. reflects the effort you put into it. 2. more on editing... much of the story seems to be unnecessary... you say you rushed to finish it and to simply give a general idea, which is OK, but I'm thinking the story could be half that size if you "cut out the fat" 3. the dialogue is just bad... don't want to rag on you, but the conversations between characters are campy and cartoonish once again, just some constructive criticsm... keep writing, peace

I’m going to be honest by saying I have not finished it since I don’t have time now, but dude, so far the story is very good!

I think it needs some work but so far you have managed to get my interest. I really liked Sonya’s dream and battle and the way you killed Kitana.

I think the only thing you need to improve is the use of words, make it a little more believable, also, try not to make it so “close”, like, not separated by comas and by the characters talks, for example, when Sonya talks to Kitana you should do:

Sonya: Blablabla bla bla

Kitana: blablabla

Sonya: Blabbkla

Kitana: Agreed.

Only if the lines are as long and as “close” as they are in your story. This will help us not get too lazy when we see a big amount of words.

So far, I give it a 4/5. Good stuff dude.

-Burst from the dragon king’s chest, kano immediately jumped aside and backed away. “What is happening?!?!” kano yelled, the dragon king looked at kano and smiled, “Now you will see my true form, fool!!” Suddenly the dragon king was surrounded by more light and he exploded ..revealing a new form. The new figure had a skull mask and his name was .Shao Kahn, The evil emperor had returned. Kano finally opened his eyes and with shock kept staring at shao kahn. What’s the matter, mortal? Shao kahn asked, are you scared of something? no wait .are you afraid of me? Hahahaha!!!!! You make me laugh!!! Kano was looking at kahn like he was a sack of gold. How ? He began, how did you get her? Quan-chi and shang tsung killed you. They told me they did!! How are you alive? Shao kahn stepped forward, “hahahaha!! You didn’t think such weaklings could kill me did you? Two sorcerers killing an emperor?!?! That is nonsense you fool!! You actually believed I had died?”. Kano stepped back, “What happened then?”. Shao kahn looked around and caught a glance of crownal spike. Then looked back at kano, “I am the king of dragons you fool”, “I died but was resurrected by Quan-Chi”. “What?” kano asked “They killed me but then that fool quan-chi resurrected my army and as my army grew, I became powerful enough to come back, Now, enough talk and let’s get this over with. Kano suddenly regained his confidence by remembering about his OWN power and how much damage it had done to Liu Kang. “Wait, I can beat you.” Shao Kahn began to laugh. Kano kept his temper, “I can beat you because I have the power of a shaolin monk, a certain shaolin monk who defeated you once.” Shao Kahn stopped laughing and looked at kano. “That fool is still alive?!?, where is he at?!?” Kano suddenly began to glow and Liu Kang’s voice said, “He’s in me”. Kano fell to the ground and began struggling to regain control of his power but liu kang was too strong, in a blinding speed, Kano jumped from his feet, began running toward the dragon king and glowing brighter. Shao Kahn jumped into his fighting stance and blocked kano’s foot just as it was about to hit him in the face. Shao grabbed kano by the leg and threw him across the ground. Kano remained on the ground breathing hard and still glowing. Shao Kahn just stood there laughing his head off with his hand’s shot out into the sky. Kano tried to get up but a thunder-bolt suddenly struck his back and he fell to the ground again. Shao Kahn looked down at kano and said, “You fool! You’ve beaten my once but it won’t happen again, I can promise you that.” Shao looked up to the sky with his arms still shot out. “Where are your so called Elder Gods now?!?!?”. Kano began screaming as loud as he could and gasping for breath. “What is wrong with you mortal?, having a bit of a temper are you?” Kano finally stopped sceaming and regained control of his power. He got up saying, “Now the real fight starts”.

Chapter 8: The real fight begins

Kano ran toward Shao Kahn and with all his might, punched the powerful emperor in the face, knocking him through a wall and leaving a hole. Shao kahn landed and crashed into a golden table. “Arrh!!” kano yelled as he jumped through the hole and proceeded to finish the job. Shao kahn looked up and kicked kano in the chest just as he was approaching. “AHHH!!!,” kano screamed as he flew back out of the hole and on the hard gravel. Shao Kahn jumped through the hole too and landed right on top of kano’s back. “How do you like that, puny mortal?!? Does it hurt?!?” Shao Kahn picked kano up by his throat and with massive power, slammed him into the ground leaving a giant hole. Suddenly blood bursted from kano’s chest and he fell unconscious, The bright red blood spread to the surface of the ground. Shao Kahn raised his hands in the air once again, “Where are you now gods?” he yelled with laughter. Shao Kahn walked away from Kano’s dead body and began toward the remaining crowd. The large crowd began to back up and screaming for their lives. “You fools should just give up!!”, “Earthrealm’s warriors are dead and you will be soon.” With all of his might shao grabbed a small boy and threw him across the battleground toward the monster pit. “AHHHH!!! Mommy, Help me!!!” the boy screamed as he began to fall. The boy’s mother started to run after the little boy but Shao Kahn grabbed her by the hair and kicked her in the stomach, the old woman fell to the ground in pain and started choking and gasping for breath. Shao Kahn could hear the cry’s from the little boy as the monsters tore him apart. Shao Kahn looked at the entire crowd, “YOU ARE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!!!”. Immediately the remaining crowd began running away. Shao Kahn was too fast for them, That day, He killed and tortured men and women and children for his own entertainment.

Meanwhile, the earth warriors were in the spirit world trying to beg the gods to listen to the cry’s for help from all the people being killed and tortured. The gods would not listen and said they gave up their own lives to save Liu Kang and they should wait and see how it works out. The earth warriors could not believe what they were hearing. “Why don’t you go then?” asked Kung Lao. “I have never wanted to leave here but you are forcing me,” the eldest god yelled back. “Oh, and have you heard about the new news on the dragon king yet?” asked kung lao, “Have you heard of the return of Shao Kahn and how many innocent people he is killing right now”. The elder god stood and began walking around. “You know..” he began, “I just have a feeling that Kano can defeat him. ”Kano is a murderer and a thief,” sub-zero reminded the elder god. Suddenly, without hesitation, the elder god threw a lightning bolt at the nearest wall, “What are you doing?” yelled Sonya, the elder god turned to the earth warriors and yelled, “Run!!”. A shadow spread on to the white floor and Shao Kahn walked into the room. “There you are!!” he yelled, “I have finally found you and now you will die!”. The elder god stepped toward Shao Kahn and threw a lightning bolt at him. He immediately dodged the lightning bolt and began fighting with the elder god, In the end Shao Kahn was on the ground begging for mercy. The elder god was just about to finish him whenever noob saibot burst through the wall and began fighting alongside Shao Kahn. “I am here master”. “Good”, Shao Kahn said, “now get this idiot off me”. Noob ran across the room and struck the elder god in the face with. The elder god seemed to not even be worried about noob saibot punching him, he was more focused on Shao Kahn. With one hand the elder god picked up shao kahn by the throat and with his other he picked up noob saibot. The two evil warriors were both struggling and could not breath, They could not believe how powerful the elder god was. With a swift speed, the elder god took and slammed both of their heads together and then threw them into a rock. Shao Kahn landed on the ground and got back up as quick as he could.

O.K. I’m gonna try finishing the story using an easier way to write what people say so don’t get confused.

Shao Kahn: You are a fool to oppose us elder god, you must not understand the consequences for fighting someone who is lower in rank than you?

Elder God: Yes, and I expect that you know the rules and consequences of opposing an elder god.

Noob Saibot: Master, he is right. We are going to be punished dearly for this act we have committed.

Shao Kahn: Shut up!! I have no excuse for weaklings like you anymore!! I’ll kill you too!!
Shao Kahn started fighting with Noob Saibot as the Elder God and the others watched on with anticipation that the two would kill each other in the process, but as it turned out, Shao Kahn reigned the Champion. He grabbed Noob and kicked him in the stomach sending blood flying through the air. Shao then drew his hammer from his side and smashed noobs head on the floor, brains went all over the place.

Shao Kahn: Now, I will kill you all!!!!!!!

Sub-Zero looked on the ground and saw that the previous battle between noob and shao kahn had caused a giant crack and Shao Kahn was standing right on it. Sub-Zero immediately began gathering energy into the palm of his hand and shot an Ice-beam that froze Shao Kahn still, then Sub-Zero ran forward and kicked the frozen emperor smashing him to pieces all over the ground. Forgetting about the hole, Sub-Zero fell through the crack and landed in a strange place, a place that he had never seen before.

Sonya: Sub-Zero!! Are you all right?!?

Sub-Zero could barely hear the voice but he could make out who it was.

Sub-Zero: Yes! I’m fine!!!

Sub-Zero looked around this strange place and suddenly, something caught his eye, there were dead bodies strung out all over the place and blood everywhere.

Kung Lao: Sub-Zero!! I’m coming down!!

Sub-Zero: There are dead bodies everywhere around here.

Kitana looked at the elder god with despise.

Kitana: What happened down there?

Elder God: I’m so sorry my child but I just couldn’t live without the taste of human flesh.

Sonya: What the hell are you?!?

Sub-Zero: Hey, what’s going on up there?

Kung Lao came flying down the hole and landed on his feet with a thud.

Kung Lao: Whoaahh, what happened down here?

Sub-Zero: It looks like some kind of monster has been feeding off of humans.

Sonya looked at the elder god once more with despair.

Sonya: You’re not the elder god are you?

Elder God: No, I am not an elder god. You know what I truly am don’t you?

Suddenly, the elder god started shaking and turning and transforming into some kind of animal, the pthers looked on in exasperation as the so called elder god took his true form, he was tall and muscular and had many scars covering his body, the monster’s face was covered with bruises from where it looked to have been beaten with a spike-ball and a chain. The monster began walking toward the earth warriors and drooling all over the place. In a loud voice he said, I am the warrior of mortal kombat!! I am dragulon!!

Dragulon: I started Mortal Kombat!! I started the entire tournament years ago!! You do not know me because I have been in this body for of 8000 millenia and I was believed to be an elder god.

Kung Lao and Sub-Zero listen to this and cannot believe what they are hearing.

Kitana: Kung Lao!! Sub-Zero!! You better get up her and hurry!!!

Kung and sub-zero begin looking around trying to find a way to escape and help their friends.

Sub-Zero: Here, I have an Idea, when I say go I want you to jump as high as you can!

Kung Lao: Alright, I’m ready!!

Sub-Zero: NOW!!!

Kung Lao jumps as high as he can and Sub-Zero jumps in the air and kicks Kung so hard that he comes up out of the hole and smashes through the ceiling.
Sub-Zero then began to gather energy and throws an Ice-ball that makes a pole from the bottom of the hole to the top of the hole. Then sub-zero began to climb up it.

Kung Lao got up and jumped back into the room.

Dragulon: It will not do you pitiful mortals any good to fight against me!! Do any of you understand that I am the champion?!? I started Mortal Kombat and was the champion of the tournament!!!

Kung Lao: I don’t care who you are, we will defeat you and stop all of this terror against earthrealm forever!!

Kung Lao runs forward and kicks Dragulon in the face. Dragulon falls to the floor and starts laughing.

Dragulon: You are going to regret that dearly mortal..

Dragulon jumped back on his feet and hit Kung Lao in the stomach with his bare fist so hard that he lost his balance and fell to the ground.
Suddenly time stopped, it felt as though the world around the warriors had been completely stopped and they were still moving.

Jax: What the hell is going on?

Sub-Zero: It feels like everything has stopped moving, but I can’t move at all.

The warriors were talking slowly and they could not hardly move at all.

While Kung Lao was still falling, Dragulon pulled back his fist and hit Kung Lao directly in the face before he could even touch the ground, Suddenly, time went back to normal and Kung Lao crumbled to the floor.

Kung Lao: ahh..what just happened!!-ahh!!

Blood burst from Kung’s nose before he could even say another word, Dragulon turned back to the other warriors and held up his hand, telling them all to fight him at once.

Kitana: he ..hi .his power is too great!! We have to retreat now!!!

Sub-Zero didn’t listen at all and shot another Ice-ball at Dragulon. Dragulon didn’t bother to even dodge the attack, instead, he let the Ice-ball hit him and his entire body became frozen.

Sub-Zero: He isn’t that tough!! I’ll destroy this monster before he can do ANY damage to earthrealm.

Kitana: Sub-Zero!! Don’t do it! He’s tricking you!!!

He still didn’t listen, Sub-Zero ran toward the frozen figure and swung his fist right at the face. Time suddenly stopped again and sub-zero could not move.
Dragulon broke out of the ice-trap just in time to dodge sub-zero’s attack. Time went back to normal and sub-zero kicked dragulon in the face as hard as he could, dragulon was sent flying through the brick wall behind him and fell to the ground, sub-zero jumped out of the window, as he was falling he made an extremely long slide made of ice and slid down on it. At the bottom of the tall building was Dragulon lying on his back. Sub-Zero turned around and looked up at the building, he saw the
other warriors looking down in desperation

Sub-Zero: I think he’s dead.

Jax: Sub-Zero!! Look out behind you!!

As Sub-Zero turned around he saw the extremely tall figure of Dragulon. Sub-Zero punched at his face but Dragulon opened his mouth and bit onto sub-zero’s arm.

Sub-Zero: Ahhh!!! My arm!!! Ahhgghh!!!

Without hesitating, Dragulon picked up sub-zero by his legs and bit him in half, blood squirted in all directions. As the blood sank to the ground it froze and created a shiny surface.

Everyone: Sub-Zero!!!!! No!!!!

Kitana and Sonya tried to help sub-zero but Kung Lao and Jax held them back.

Dragulon continuously ate sub-zero’s entire body and kept spitting out chunks of brain and bones. After he was finished with his tasty meal, Dragulon looked up at top of the tall building and saw the others staring at him in disbelief. Sonya was screaming and cursing words as loud at the top of her lungs.

Kung Lao: How is it possible for him to kill someone that is already dead?!

Dragulon stared at Kung Lao with a smile.

Dragulon: So Kung Lao, how do you feel about being the next one to die? Why don’t you come on down here? That is, of course ..if you’re not afraid!

Kung Lao: I know what you’re planning to do Dragulon!! I’m not going to get myself killed when I can train and become stronger and beat you!!

The warriors began to turn away from the window and started running down the stairs but the time stopped once again, Dragulon jumped onto the wall of the building and began sticking his claws into the building to climb up. Meanwhile, the earth warriors could not move or talk. As Dragulon got to the top of the building he could see that there was another person, another god!!

Fuijin: It’s going to be all right everyone.

Dragulon: You fool!! Get away from my mortals!

While fuijin was turned the other way, he could not see the monster until he spoke, Fuijin turned around and faced Dragulon.

Fuijin: I have heard of you before, Dragulon.

Dragulon: What?!? How?!? You weren’t even born whenever I became champion.

Fuijin: I will fight you and if I defeat you in combat, you die and go to hell and earthrealm lives in peace. Understand?

Dragulon: I don’t make deals with gods and I will not make a deal with you! I will kill everyone in this universe!!!

Fuijin became angry and started running toward Dragulon with a Dragon Spear in his hand.

As soon as Fuijin reached enough speed, he jumped in the air (Dodging Dragulon’s punch) and slammed the Dragon Spear into Dragulons neck, the monster immediately began to shake and convulse and then suddenly, everything stopped.

Fuijin: W..h..a t’s.. h a..p.p e..n..in..g?

Dragulon: Now you die fool!!!!

Dragulon pulled the Dragon Spear from his own neck with blood draining all over it and then stabbed Fuijin in the forehead. Fuijin began to fall slowly because of the time-slowing still intact. Dragulon picked up Fuijin and began tearing his body apart and eating his brains and tearing out his ribcage. The other warriors looked on in terror as their only chance of survival was ahhnihilated by the hands of the champion of Mortal Kombat.
The warriors quickly escaped as Dragulon continued feasting on the remains of Fuijins body parts.
As the warriors exited the large dark house they saw that there was a portal still open, without hesitation they entered the portal and arrived in outworld. There they encountered a new enemy, it was a man with blonde-length hair and he had on a jacket with a hood.

Kung Lao: Huh? Who is that guy? Hey!!

The man turned and looked at sub-zero.

Kung Lao: Who are you?

The man only replied “Fight me and I’ll tell you”.

Kung Lao stepped up to the man and they began fighting, the man pulled a nunchuka stick from his pocket and slammed it into the back of Kung Lao’s head. Kung Lao grabbed the man by his neck and threw him into a statue. The statue burst into pieces and the man fell to the ground in pain. Kung Lao helped him up and said “tell me your name.” “Ben Kobra is my name”.

Kung Lao looked at the other warriors.

Kung Lao: His name is Ben Kobra.

Sonya: Ben, what are you doing here?

Ben: I am battling for earthrealm too. 4 years ago after my father died ..after my father died .I was all alone and I got ambushed by the same ninja that killed my father .his name was Ermac, after all of these years I can still feel my fathers cold hand on my shoulder when he was dying, he told me that I would have to fight by myself and that I should never be afraid of anything that I could not see. I was going to give him a proper burial just when I got my leg cut off by Ermac’s rusty sword blade. Ermac looked into my eyes just as he was going to kill me and said, “Your father’s death was inevitable and yours will be too if you follow me.” Then he threw me aside and pierced my father’s heart with such verocity that he went through the floor. Every since that dreadful day I have swore an oath to my father’s soul that I would destroy the man who caused us pain. That’s my story.

Jax: Hey kid, you shouldn’t be here, you need to go home before you get hurt.

Ben: I’m no kid, I’m a skilled warrior of earthrealm and I think it’s my right to fight for my own freedom too. I WILL avenge my father!

Ben begins to walk toward jax and sticks his finger in jax’s face.

Ben: I’m no kid copper boy!

Jax: Why you little .

Sonya: Stop! We need to train some more and we also need to find a place to train, we can’t expect to get strong enough and destroy that monster back there if we don’t work together.

Kitana: Ben, would you like to join us in our battle against Dragulon?

Ben: Dragulon? How .how do..how do you know about him?

The earth warriors looked at each other with questioning.

Kung Lao: Dragulon is the champion of Mortal Kombat, he was the one who started Mortal Kombat in the first place, if we cannot stop him he will conquer earthrealm and make it into his nest. We have to stop him!

The earth warriors find an old broken-down cabin and use it for shelter, they train for many weeks while Dragulon continuously hunt’s them down. Still wondering why they were brought back to life by that mysterious portal and how sub-zero was killed by such a gruesome monster, the dissapearence of Johnny cage never occurred to them, the earthrealm warriors suddenly come to a stop during their training.

Kung Lao: It is time.

The earth warriors had learned many great things about themselves and their compatants. Ben had learned to trust his heart and became a better fighter with the help of Jax, Sonya, Kung Lao, and Kitana. The earth warriors walked out of the training cabin and began their search for Dragulon, it was a long search but they finally found him, feeding off of the remains of some humans he had ambushed.

Kung Lao: DRAGULON!!!

Dragulon turned around and faced Kung Lao.

Dragulon: So, you’ve finally managed to gain enough strength to fight me huh?

Kitana: You will die tonight, Dragulon..

Dragulon got up from the remains of dead body parts and began walking toward the earth warriors.

Kung Lao: here we go, get ready.

Dragulon suddenly makes time stop, he grabs Kung Lao up by the head and smashes him into the ground. Blood spills from Kung Lao’s mouth and he passes out. Sonya grabs a stick up from the ground and begins using it as a staff, she smashes Dragulon up-side the head and he falls to the ground. Kung Lao suddenly awoke and still on the ground get’s up and grabs his Sword from his back, then he stabs Dragulon in the back and blood goes squirting.

Dragulon: AHHH!!!!!

Dragulon grabs Kung Lao and throws him into a tree, the tree breaks in half and Kung Lao’s ribs get severely injured. Next up Kitana grabs her blades and cut’s open Dragulon’s arm, dragulon grabs his arm and screams, then he picks up Kitana and throws her into the air, as she falls Dragulon kicks her in the chest and she crumbles into the dirt.

Kitana: haaahh!!!

Jax uses his arms to make the ground shake but it has no effect on dragulon, dragulon run’s forward and uppercut’s him into the sky, a lightning bolt strikes him and he falls into a pond.

Jax: Gahhhghh!!!!

Ben was the last one to stand up against Dragulon, he used his Nunchuka to continuously beat Dragulon in the face and ribs, Dragulon tried to hit him but it seemed impossible to hit someone who was so fast, Ben’s speed had increased greatly! Dragulon swung his fist at Ben once more, he came extremely close to hitting him in the face but suddenly, .time stopped. Dragulon could not move, only Ben could move, Ben grabbed Dragulons fist and twisted it behind his back. Ad whispered..

Ben: You never even knew it was me

Suddenly Ben began to tremble and his muscles became huge! His own jacket began to rip and his entire clothing was ripped off, his skin turned dark brown and he began to transform into a giant dragon, Ben stood before Dragulon and said

Ben: Goodbye father!

He began, how did you get her? Quan-chi and shang tsung killed you. They told me they did!! How are you alive? Shao kahn stepped forward, “hahahaha!! You didn’t think such weaklings could kill me did you? Two sorcerers killing an emperor?!?! That is nonsense you fool!! You actually believed I had died?”. Kano stepped back, “What happened then?”. Shao kahn looked around and caught a glance of crownal spike. Then looked back at kano, “I am the king of dragons you fool”, “I died but was resurrected by Quan-Chi”. “What?” kano asked “They killed me but then that fool quan-chi resurrected my army and as my army grew, I became powerful enough to come back, Now, enough talk and let’s get this over with. Chapter 8: The real fight begins

Suddenly blood bursted from kano’s chest and he fell unconscious, The bright red blood spread to the surface of the ground. Shao Kahn raised his hands in the air once again, “Where are you now gods?” he yelled with laughter. Shao Kahn walked away from Kano’s dead body and began toward the remaining crowd. The large crowd began to back up and screaming for their lives. “You fools should just give up!!”, “Earthrealm’s warriors are dead and you will be soon.” With all of his might shao grabbed a small boy and threw him across the battleground toward the monster pit. “AHHHH!!! Mommy, Help me!!!” the boy screamed as he began to fall. The boy’s mother started to run after the little boy but Shao Kahn grabbed her by the hair and kicked her in the stomach, the old woman fell to the ground in pain and started choking and gasping for breath. Shao Kahn could hear the cry’s from the little boy as the monsters tore him apart. Shao Kahn looked at the entire crowd, “YOU ARE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!!!”. Immediately the remaining crowd began running away. Shao Kahn was too fast for them, That day, He killed and tortured men and women and children for his own entertainment.

Meanwhile, the earth warriors were in the spirit world trying to beg the gods to listen to the cry’s for help from all the people being killed and tortured. The gods would not listen and said they gave up their own lives to save Liu Kang and they should wait and see how it works out. The earth warriors could not believe what they were hearing. “Why don’t you go then?” asked Kung Lao. “I have never wanted to leave here but you are forcing me,” the eldest god yelled back. “Oh, and have you heard about the new news on the dragon king yet?” asked kung lao, “Have you heard of the return of Shao Kahn and how many innocent people he is killing right now”. The elder god stood and began walking around. “You know..” he began, “I just have a feeling that Kano can defeat him. ”Kano is a murderer and a thief,” sub-zero reminded the elder god. Suddenly, without hesitation, the elder god threw a lightning bolt at the nearest wall, “What are you doing?” yelled Sonya, the elder god turned to the earth warriors and yelled, “Run!!”. A shadow spread on to the white floor and Shao Kahn walked into the room. “There you are!!” he yelled, “I have finally found you and now you will die!”. The elder god stepped toward Shao Kahn and threw a lightning bolt at him. He immediately dodged the lightning bolt and began fighting with the elder god, In the end Shao Kahn was on the ground begging for mercy. The elder god was just about to finish him whenever noob saibot burst through the wall and began fighting alongside Shao Kahn. “I am here master”. “Good”, Shao Kahn said, “now get this idiot off me”. Noob ran across the room and struck the elder god in the face with. The elder god seemed to not even be worried about noob saibot punching him, he was more focused on Shao Kahn. With one hand the elder god picked up shao kahn by the throat and with his other he picked up noob saibot. The two evil warriors were both struggling and could not breath, They could not believe how powerful the elder god was. With a swift speed, the elder god took and slammed both of their heads together and then threw them into a rock. Shao Kahn landed on the ground and got back up as quick as he could.

O.K. I’m gonna try finishing the story using an easier way to write what people say so don’t get confused.

Shao Kahn: You are a fool to oppose us elder god, you must not understand the consequences for fighting someone who is lower in rank than you?

Elder God: Yes, and I expect that you know the rules and consequences of opposing an elder god.

Noob Saibot: Master, he is right. We are going to be punished dearly for this act we have committed.

Shao Kahn: Shut up!! I have no excuse for weaklings like you anymore!! I’ll kill you too!!

Shao Kahn: Now, I will kill you all!!!!!!!

Sub-Zero looked on the ground and saw that the previous battle between noob and shao kahn had caused a giant crack and Shao Kahn was standing right on it. Sub-Zero immediately began gathering energy into the palm of his hand and shot an Ice-beam that froze Shao Kahn still, then Sub-Zero ran forward and kicked the frozen emperor smashing him to pieces all over the ground. Forgetting about the hole, Sub-Zero fell through the crack and landed in a strange place, a place that he had never seen before.

Sonya: Sub-Zero!! Are you all right?!?

Sub-Zero could barely hear the voice but he could make out who it was.

Sub-Zero: Yes! I’m fine!!!

Sub-Zero looked around this strange place and suddenly, something caught his eye, there were dead bodies strung out all over the place and blood everywhere.

Kung Lao: Sub-Zero!! I’m coming down!!

Sub-Zero: There are dead bodies everywhere around here.

Kitana looked at the elder god with despise.

Kitana: What happened down there?

Elder God: I’m so sorry my child but I just couldn’t live without the taste of human flesh.

Sonya: What the hell are you?!?

Sub-Zero: Hey, what’s going on up there?

Kung Lao came flying down the hole and landed on his feet with a thud.

Kung Lao: Whoaahh, what happened down here?

Sub-Zero: It looks like some kind of monster has been feeding off of humans.

Sonya looked at the elder god once more with despair.

Elder God: No, I am not an elder god. You know what I truly am don’t you?

Suddenly, the elder god started shaking and turning and transforming into some kind of animal, the pthers looked on in exasperation as the so called elder god took his true form, he was tall and muscular and had many scars covering his body, the monster’s face was covered with bruises from where it looked to have been beaten with a spike-ball and a chain. The monster began walking toward the earth warriors and drooling all over the place. In a loud voice he said, I am the warrior of mortal kombat!! I am dragulon!!

Dragulon: I started Mortal Kombat!! I started the entire tournament years ago!! You do not know me because I have been in this body for of 8000 millenia and I was believed to be an elder god.

Kung Lao and Sub-Zero listen to this and cannot believe what they are hearing.

Kitana: Kung Lao!! Sub-Zero!! You better get up her and hurry!!!

Kung and sub-zero begin looking around trying to find a way to escape and help their friends.

Sub-Zero: Here, I have an Idea, when I say go I want you to jump as high as you can!

Kung Lao: Alright, I’m ready!!

Dragulon: It will not do you pitiful mortals any good to fight against me!! Do any of you understand that I am the champion?!? I started Mortal Kombat and was the champion of the tournament!!!

Kung Lao: I don’t care who you are, we will defeat you and stop all of this terror against earthrealm forever!!

Dragulon: You are going to regret that dearly mortal..

Sub-Zero: He isn’t that tough!! I’ll destroy this monster before he can do ANY damage to earthrealm.

Kitana: Sub-Zero!! Don’t do it! He’s tricking you!!!

He still didn’t listen, Sub-Zero ran toward the frozen figure and swung his fist right at the face. Time suddenly stopped again and sub-zero could not move.
Dragulon broke out of the ice-trap just in time to dodge sub-zero’s attack. Time went back to normal and sub-zero kicked dragulon in the face as hard as he could, dragulon was sent flying through the brick wall behind him and fell to the ground, sub-zero jumped out of the window, as he was falling he made an extremely long slide made of ice and slid down on it. At the bottom of the tall building was Dragulon lying on his back. Sub-Zero turned around and looked up at the building, he saw the
other warriors looking down in desperation

Sub-Zero: I think he’s dead.

Jax: Sub-Zero!! Look out behind you!!

As Sub-Zero turned around he saw the extremely tall figure of Dragulon. Sub-Zero punched at his face but Dragulon opened his mouth and bit onto sub-zero’s arm.

Sub-Zero: Ahhh!!! My arm!!! Ahhgghh!!!

Without hesitating, Dragulon picked up sub-zero by his legs and bit him in half, blood squirted in all directions. As the blood sank to the ground it froze and created a shiny surface.

Everyone: Sub-Zero!!!!! No!!!!

Kitana and Sonya tried to help sub-zero but Kung Lao and Jax held them back.

Dragulon continuously ate sub-zero’s entire body and kept spitting out chunks of brain and bones. After he was finished with his tasty meal, Dragulon looked up at top of the tall building and saw the others staring at him in disbelief. Sonya was screaming and cursing words as loud at the top of her lungs.

Kung Lao: How is it possible for him to kill someone that is already dead?!

Fuijin: It’s going to be all right everyone.

Dragulon: You fool!! Get away from my mortals!

While fuijin was turned the other way, he could not see the monster until he spoke, Fuijin turned around and faced Dragulon.

Fuijin: I have heard of you before, Dragulon.

Dragulon: What?!? How?!? You weren’t even born whenever I became champion.

Fuijin: I will fight you and if I defeat you in combat, you die and go to hell and earthrealm lives in peace. Understand?

Dragulon: I don’t make deals with gods and I will not make a deal with you! I will kill everyone in this universe!!!

Fuijin became angry and started running toward Dragulon with a Dragon Spear in his hand.

As soon as Fuijin reached enough speed, he jumped in the air (Dodging Dragulon’s punch) and slammed the Dragon Spear into Dragulons neck, the monster immediately began to shake and convulse and then suddenly, everything stopped.

Fuijin: W..h..a t’s.. h a..p.p e..n..in..g?

Dragulon pulled the Dragon Spear from his own neck with blood draining all over it and then stabbed Fuijin in the forehead. Fuijin began to fall slowly because of the time-slowing still intact. The other warriors looked on in terror as their only chance of survival was ahhnihilated by the hands of the champion of Mortal Kombat.

As the warriors exited the large dark house they saw that there was a portal still open, without hesitation they entered the portal and arrived in outworld. There they encountered a new enemy, it was a man with blonde-length hair and he had on a jacket with a hood.

Kung Lao: Huh? Who is that guy? Hey!!

The man turned and looked at sub-zero.

Kung Lao: Who are you?

The man only replied “Fight me and I’ll tell you”.

Kung Lao stepped up to the man and they began fighting, the man pulled a nunchuka stick from his pocket and slammed it into the back of Kung Lao’s head. Shao Kahn jumped into his fighting stance and blocked kano’s foot just as it was about to hit him in the face. Shao grabbed kano by the leg and threw him across the ground. Kano remained on the ground breathing hard and still glowing. Shao Kahn just stood there laughing his head off with his hand’s shot out into the sky. Kano tried to get up but a thunder-bolt suddenly struck his back and he fell to the ground again. Shao Kahn looked down at kano and said, “You fool! You’ve beaten my once but it won’t happen again, I can promise you that.” Shao looked up to the sky with his arms still shot out. “Where are your so called Elder Gods now?!?!?”. Kano began screaming as loud as he could and gasping for breath. “What is wrong with you mortal?, having a bit of a temper are you?” Kano finally stopped sceaming and regained control of his power. He got up saying, “Now the real fight starts”.

Chapter 8: The real fight begins

Kano ran toward Shao Kahn and with all his might, punched the powerful emperor in the face, knocking him through a wall and leaving a hole. Shao kahn landed and crashed into a golden table. “Arrh!!” kano yelled as he jumped through the hole and proceeded to finish the job. Shao kahn looked up and kicked kano in the chest just as he was approaching. “AHHH!!!,” kano screamed as he flew back out of the hole and on the hard gravel. Shao Kahn jumped through the hole too and landed right on top of kano’s back. “How do you like that, puny mortal?!? Does it hurt?!?” Shao Kahn picked kano up by his throat and with massive power, slammed him into the ground leaving a giant hole. Suddenly blood bursted from kano’s chest and he fell unconscious, The bright red blood spread to the surface of the ground. Shao Kahn raised his hands in the air once again, “Where are you now gods?” he yelled with laughter. Shao Kahn walked away from Kano’s dead body and began toward the remaining crowd. The large crowd began to back up and screaming for their lives. “You fools should just give up!!”, “Earthrealm’s warriors are dead and you will be soon.” With all of his might shao grabbed a small boy and threw him across the battleground toward the monster pit. “AHHHH!!! Mommy, Help me!!!” the boy screamed as he began to fall. The boy’s mother started to run after the little boy but Shao Kahn grabbed her by the hair and kicked her in the stomach, the old woman fell to the ground in pain and started choking and gasping for breath. Shao Kahn could hear the cry’s from the little boy as the monsters tore him apart. Shao Kahn looked at the entire crowd, “YOU ARE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!!!”. Immediately the remaining crowd began running away. Shao Kahn was too fast for them, That day, He killed and tortured men and women and children for his own entertainment.

Meanwhile, the earth warriors were in the spirit world trying to beg the gods to listen to the cry’s for help from all the people being killed and tortured. The gods would not listen and said they gave up their own lives to save Liu Kang and they should wait and see how it works out. The earth warriors could not believe what they were hearing. “Why don’t you go then?” asked Kung Lao. “I have never wanted to leave here but you are forcing me,” the eldest god yelled back. “Oh, and have you heard about the new news on the dragon king yet?” asked kung lao, “Have you heard of the return of Shao Kahn and how many innocent people he is killing right now”. The elder god stood and began walking around. “You know..” he began, “I just have a feeling that Kano can defeat him. ”Kano is a murderer and a thief,” sub-zero reminded the elder god. Suddenly, without hesitation, the elder god threw a lightning bolt at the nearest wall, “What are you doing?” yelled Sonya, the elder god turned to the earth warriors and yelled, “Run!!”. A shadow spread on to the white floor and Shao Kahn walked into the room. “There you are!!” he yelled, “I have finally found you and now you will die!”. The elder god stepped toward Shao Kahn and threw a lightning bolt at him. He immediately dodged the lightning bolt and began fighting with the elder god, In the end Shao Kahn was on the ground begging for mercy. The elder god was just about to finish him whenever noob saibot burst through the wall and began fighting alongside Shao Kahn. “I am here master”. “Good”, Shao Kahn said, “now get this idiot off me”. Noob ran across the room and struck the elder god in the face with. The elder god seemed to not even be worried about noob saibot punching him, he was more focused on Shao Kahn. With one hand the elder god picked up shao kahn by the throat and with his other he picked up noob saibot. The two evil warriors were both struggling and could not breath, They could not believe how powerful the elder god was. With a swift speed, the elder god took and slammed both of their heads together and then threw them into a rock. Shao Kahn landed on the ground and got back up as quick as he could.

O.K. I’m gonna try finishing the story using an easier way to write what people say so don’t get confused.

Shao Kahn: You are a fool to oppose us elder god, you must not understand the consequences for fighting someone who is lower in rank than you?

Elder God: Yes, and I expect that you know the rules and consequences of opposing an elder god.

Noob Saibot: Master, he is right. We are going to be punished dearly for this act we have committed.

Shao Kahn: Shut up!! I have no excuse for weaklings like you anymore!! I’ll kill you too!!
Shao Kahn started fighting with Noob Saibot as the Elder God and the others watched on with anticipation that the two would kill each other in the process, but as it turned out, Shao Kahn reigned the Champion. He grabbed Noob and kicked him in the stomach sending blood flying through the air. Shao then drew his hammer from his side and smashed noobs head on the floor, brains went all over the place.

Shao Kahn: Now, I will kill you all!!!!!!!

Sub-Zero looked on the ground and saw that the previous battle between noob and shao kahn had caused a giant crack and Shao Kahn was standing right on it. Sub-Zero immediately began gathering energy into the palm of his hand and shot an Ice-beam that froze Shao Kahn still, then Sub-Zero ran forward and kicked the frozen emperor smashing him to pieces all over the ground. Forgetting about the hole, Sub-Zero fell through the crack and landed in a strange place, a place that he had never seen before.

Sonya: Sub-Zero!! Are you all right?!?

Sub-Zero could barely hear the voice but he could make out who it was.

Sub-Zero: Yes! I’m fine!!!

Sub-Zero looked around this strange place and suddenly, something caught his eye, there were dead bodies strung out all over the place and blood everywhere.

Kung Lao: Sub-Zero!! I’m coming down!!

Sub-Zero: There are dead bodies everywhere around here.

Kitana looked at the elder god with despise.

Kitana: What happened down there?

Elder God: I’m so sorry my child but I just couldn’t live without the taste of human flesh.

Sonya: What the hell are you?!?

Sub-Zero: Hey, what’s going on up there?

Kung Lao came flying down the hole and landed on his feet with a thud.

Kung Lao: Whoaahh, what happened down here?

Sub-Zero: It looks like some kind of monster has been feeding off of humans.

Sonya looked at the elder god once more with despair.

Sonya: You’re not the elder god are you?

Elder God: No, I am not an elder god. You know what I truly am don’t you?

Suddenly, the elder god started shaking and turning and transforming into some kind of animal, the pthers looked on in exasperation as the so called elder god took his true form, he was tall and muscular and had many scars covering his body, the monster’s face was covered with bruises from where it looked to have been beaten with a spike-ball and a chain. The monster began walking toward the earth warriors and drooling all over the place. In a loud voice he said, I am the warrior of mortal kombat!! I am dragulon!!

Dragulon: I started Mortal Kombat!! I started the entire tournament years ago!! You do not know me because I have been in this body for of 8000 millenia and I was believed to be an elder god.

Kung Lao and Sub-Zero listen to this and cannot believe what they are hearing.

Kitana: Kung Lao!! Sub-Zero!! You better get up her and hurry!!!

Kung and sub-zero begin looking around trying to find a way to escape and help their friends.

Sub-Zero: Here, I have an Idea, when I say go I want you to jump as high as you can!

Kung Lao: Alright, I’m ready!!

Sub-Zero: NOW!!!

Kung Lao jumps as high as he can and Sub-Zero jumps in the air and kicks Kung so hard that he comes up out of the hole and smashes through the ceiling.
Sub-Zero then began to gather energy and throws an Ice-ball that makes a pole from the bottom of the hole to the top of the hole. Then sub-zero began to climb up it.

Kung Lao got up and jumped back into the room.

Dragulon: It will not do you pitiful mortals any good to fight against me!! Do any of you understand that I am the champion?!? I started Mortal Kombat and was the champion of the tournament!!!

Kung Lao: I don’t care who you are, we will defeat you and stop all of this terror against earthrealm forever!!

Kung Lao runs forward and kicks Dragulon in the face. Dragulon falls to the floor and starts laughing.

Dragulon: You are going to regret that dearly mortal..

Dragulon jumped back on his feet and hit Kung Lao in the stomach with his bare fist so hard that he lost his balance and fell to the ground.
Suddenly time stopped, it felt as though the world around the warriors had been completely stopped and they were still moving.

Jax: What the hell is going on?

Sub-Zero: It feels like everything has stopped moving, but I can’t move at all.

The warriors were talking slowly and they could not hardly move at all.

While Kung Lao was still falling, Dragulon pulled back his fist and hit Kung Lao directly in the face before he could even touch the ground, Suddenly, time went back to normal and Kung Lao crumbled to the floor.

Kung Lao: ahh..what just happened!!-ahh!!

Blood burst from Kung’s nose before he could even say another word, Dragulon turned back to the other warriors and held up his hand, telling them all to fight him at once.

Kitana: he ..hi .his power is too great!! We have to retreat now!!!

Sub-Zero didn’t listen at all and shot another Ice-ball at Dragulon. Dragulon didn’t bother to even dodge the attack, instead, he let the Ice-ball hit him and his entire body became frozen.

Sub-Zero: He isn’t that tough!! I’ll destroy this monster before he can do ANY damage to earthrealm.

Kitana: Sub-Zero!! Don’t do it! He’s tricking you!!!

He still didn’t listen, Sub-Zero ran toward the frozen figure and swung his fist right at the face. Time suddenly stopped again and sub-zero could not move.
Dragulon broke out of the ice-trap just in time to dodge sub-zero’s attack. Time went back to normal and sub-zero kicked dragulon in the face as hard as he could, dragulon was sent flying through the brick wall behind him and fell to the ground, sub-zero jumped out of the window, as he was falling he made an extremely long slide made of ice and slid down on it. At the bottom of the tall building was Dragulon lying on his back. Sub-Zero turned around and looked up at the building, he saw the
other warriors looking down in desperation

Sub-Zero: I think he’s dead.

Jax: Sub-Zero!! Look out behind you!!

As Sub-Zero turned around he saw the extremely tall figure of Dragulon. Sub-Zero punched at his face but Dragulon opened his mouth and bit onto sub-zero’s arm.

Sub-Zero: Ahhh!!! My arm!!! Ahhgghh!!!

Without hesitating, Dragulon picked up sub-zero by his legs and bit him in half, blood squirted in all directions. As the blood sank to the ground it froze and created a shiny surface.

Everyone: Sub-Zero!!!!! No!!!!

Kitana and Sonya tried to help sub-zero but Kung Lao and Jax held them back.

Dragulon continuously ate sub-zero’s entire body and kept spitting out chunks of brain and bones. After he was finished with his tasty meal, Dragulon looked up at top of the tall building and saw the others staring at him in disbelief. Sonya was screaming and cursing words as loud at the top of her lungs.

Kung Lao: How is it possible for him to kill someone that is already dead?!

Dragulon stared at Kung Lao with a smile.

Dragulon: So Kung Lao, how do you feel about being the next one to die? Why don’t you come on down here? That is, of course ..if you’re not afraid!

Kung Lao: I know what you’re planning to do Dragulon!! I’m not going to get myself killed when I can train and become stronger and beat you!!

The warriors began to turn away from the window and started running down the stairs but the time stopped once again, Dragulon jumped onto the wall of the building and began sticking his claws into the building to climb up. Meanwhile, the earth warriors could not move or talk. As Dragulon got to the top of the building he could see that there was another person, another god!!

Fuijin: It’s going to be all right everyone.

Dragulon: You fool!! Get away from my mortals!

While fuijin was turned the other way, he could not see the monster until he spoke, Fuijin turned around and faced Dragulon.

Fuijin: I have heard of you before, Dragulon.

Dragulon: What?!? How?!? You weren’t even born whenever I became champion.

Fuijin: I will fight you and if I defeat you in combat, you die and go to hell and earthrealm lives in peace. Understand?

Dragulon: I don’t make deals with gods and I will not make a deal with you! I will kill everyone in this universe!!!

Fuijin became angry and started running toward Dragulon with a Dragon Spear in his hand.

As soon as Fuijin reached enough speed, he jumped in the air (Dodging Dragulon’s punch) and slammed the Dragon Spear into Dragulons neck, the monster immediately began to shake and convulse and then suddenly, everything stopped.

Fuijin: W..h..a t’s.. h a..p.p e..n..in..g?

Dragulon: Now you die fool!!!!

Dragulon pulled the Dragon Spear from his own neck with blood draining all over it and then stabbed Fuijin in the forehead. Fuijin began to fall slowly because of the time-slowing still intact. Dragulon picked up Fuijin and began tearing his body apart and eating his brains and tearing out his ribcage. The other warriors looked on in terror as their only chance of survival was ahhnihilated by the hands of the champion of Mortal Kombat.
The warriors quickly escaped as Dragulon continued feasting on the remains of Fuijins body parts.
As the warriors exited the large dark house they saw that there was a portal still open, without hesitation they entered the portal and arrived in outworld. There they encountered a new enemy, it was a man with blonde-length hair and he had on a jacket with a hood.

Kung Lao: Huh? Who is that guy? Hey!!

The man turned and looked at sub-zero.

Kung Lao: Who are you?

The man only replied “Fight me and I’ll tell you”.

Kung Lao stepped up to the man and they began fighting, the man pulled a nunchuka stick from his pocket and slammed it into the back of Kung Lao’s head. Kung Lao grabbed the man by his neck and threw him into a statue. The statue burst into pieces and the man fell to the ground in pain. Kung Lao helped him up and said “tell me your name.” “Ben Kobra is my name”.

Kung Lao looked at the other warriors.

Kung Lao: His name is Ben Kobra.

Sonya: Ben, what are you doing here?

Ben: I am battling for earthrealm too. 4 years ago after my father died ..after my father died .I was all alone and I got ambushed by the same ninja that killed my father .his name was Ermac, after all of these years I can still feel my fathers cold hand

You might as well have renamed Sub-Zero Johnny Cage, because that's how pathetic you made him look in this, Sub-Zero is the grandmaster of the Lin Kuei, there's no way he got there by being so arrogant to obvious danger.

good use of gore, that's how MK should be.

Nice use of Shao Kahn.

Lack of use of the characters that are in Deception. What are all of them doing while this is happening?

Once again too similiar to Dragonball Z.

- Shao Kahn vs. Kano fight. Nice and seemed realistic.
- Dragulon concept. I liked that.
- Nice and gory.


Cons:

- Shao Kahn should not be the Dragon King.
- Dragulon's physical description was terrible.
- All of the Earthrealm warriors are pussies in your story.
- Exactly where is everyone else who is involved in Deception?
- I don't think Shao Kahn would kill Noob Saibot because Noob spoke against him in such a calm manner. Doesn't seem like Kahn to kill his own people unless they turn on him.
- Ben's character was absolutely horrendous.
- The ending was absolutely horrendous. That seemed like what a 10 year old would write.
