As we know there will be 24 characters. 6 characters will be returning from Deadly Alliance (yes I think Sub-Zero, Kenshi, and Scorpion apply to this, 10 classic characters, and 8 brand new ones (I think having 8 new ones is kind of a high # but will see how good they are when we have the game).

3 from what I hear have been official leaving only 3 slots left for the returning characters. My predictions for the last slots will be Kung Lao, Reptile, and Movado. Kung Lao obviously will replace Liu Kang and MK Champion, Reptile hopefully will have a more important role in the story most likely as The Dragon King, and Movado will feud with the Lin Kuei and possibly even fight Kabal (who will be looking for revenge).

Again 3 slots left for classic characters. My predictions will be Smoke, Reiko, and Sektor (maybe even Jade or Fujin). Alot of people have been asking for Smoke (robot version) to return for a while now, so what better time then now for Smoke to make he 3D debut. People will not let the "Reiko is Shao Khan" crap go so Boon will probably enlighten these ppl on the topic. And Sektor in his ending from Tournament Edition has a new clan so he will most likely added. Jade and Fujin are also high possibilites.
I'm happy either way. Just as long as Sonya, Jax (kind of tired of the Special Forces stable to be honest with you), Stryker, Kai, Jarek, Hsu Hao, Lei Mei, and Johnny Cage (tired of his shit too), are not in it. Anyone else would be fine.
