My Theory on Sektor

With no news of Sektor as of yet it seems that he is likely not to appear in MK:D. I think that it's a good idea that he's not in MK:D because this game takes place in Outworld. I'd prefer Sektor stay in Japan and wait till the recently announced MK7 to come back. This way he can continue to build his clan into a formidable force against Sub-Zero.

I think Sub-Zero will defeat the Tarkatan hordes but still the remaining forces of good will lose and be forced to retreat to Earthrealm. MK7 could take off there with the last stand against the Dragon King. Sektor could now come into place, joining forces with the Dragon King in hopes of eliminating Sub-Zero and the Lin-Kuei.

On a side note people always said that MK3 had to many robots in it so maybe Ed Boon decided to place Cyrax in MK:DA, Smoke in MK:D, and Sektor in MK7 so as to spread them out some.

ya the whole sektor and his army as another threat to earth would be a great setting for mk 7 and have it be on earth. but i don't think it wouldn't be a good idea to hint on this in deception maybe have him help out to take out the DK so he won't have troubles in the future with taking control of earth or the other realms. the game is named deception.

I have no problem with not seein Sektor for a game or 2....

All they wud do is basically give him another story, make him slightly differnt, give him a fatality or 2 and thats it

Oh wait, thats the same for everyone :P

lol Ok, but no more Sektor, Id like the next generation of Kombatants to step up and introduce themselves. Let todays new characters become classics, not just some one game wonders!

Agreed, while all the Earthrealm warriors are out in Outworld, Sektor can come in, destroy what was left of the Earthrealm warriors (special forces and others) and begin destroying Earthrealm. Once the Earthrealm fighters are defeated, they retreat back to Earth, only to find it a giant firepit. Then the DK's, Sektor's, and Baraka's forces would begin destroying Earth, and then Raiden would sacrifice himself to destroy the hordes. After that, the DK would be killed by Kung Lao (who was the last living Earthrealm warrior while the others were in Outworld).

if sektor was the boss for mk 7 i'd like to see him as just his brain in an obserdly big mega robot body with freatures from his old self. or maybe just a bulked up version of his normal look, basically take shao khan's or kintaro's build and add a slightly changed sektor sos that he doesn't look like a deranged motocross rider

I could see MK7 being on earth, with the main conflict being between Sektor and the rest of earth. Sektor's clan have acheived massive numbers and are threatening the planet itself, and could possibly pose a threat to Outworld after their conquest of Earth. I could see a souped power-hungry Sektor as the final boss, fighting in a base at the Tekunin, where he could have complete control over the environment, such as lasers and death traps and mechanical arms, spinning blades, etc. So you are fighting not only Sektor, but the Tekunin base itself. Who knows, maybe Frost could fight alongside Sub-Zero, and perhaps her ending (or story) could be she is captured and automated by the Tekunin, and Subbie could be fighting to save her, or to kill her and let her soul rest or something.

The cyborg on the E3 select screen combined with Sektor's MKTE ending weighs more than any theory. Yes I have sources, but that's irrelevant. I said what I stated above because people have seem to have given up on Sektor. I'm not trying to make them feel wrong, I'm telling them to keep up their hopes because he will return.

But if you think he's on standby till MK7, think away. If you think the Cyborg on the select screen is Cyrax, that's cool too. As I've said before, you guys may believe whatever you want.

I think your theory has some good points but is WAYYYY off track. For starters, look at it this way: the Midway camp FREAKED when IGN posted those raiden shots and demanded them to take them down..... Why do you ask? Because we only see and discuss what Midway feeds us. To keep intrest, a little at a time. We may have been smart enough to figure alot of stuff out on our own but I hardly think we have even scratched the surface as of yet. He's in this game, trust me.

Secondly.... This whole "MK7" theory is a bit far fetched. I think Dragon King will be killed off after this game. I believe we see the second rise of SHAO KAHN in MK7, it just feels right, it fits.

Temp is absolutely right, and hes actually known for a LONG time now that Sektor will be in MKD. Granted to that, he pretty much knows everyone who's going to be in MKD.

Sektor WILL be in MKD, just wait and see.glasses
