Well lets start by looking at some facts:

1. It has been said that he will evetually be playable.

2. It has been rumored that it will be a chimera(A chimera is a mythological beast that is made up several grotesque monsters)

3. It was said to be something hideos and never before seen in the MK world


This leads me to a theory I have:

I believe that eventually The Dragon King captures Apep as he and Sujinko grow older through Konquest. He tortures him through many ways and is then attached to beast like creatures and the purity of his soul is consumed. After you complete Konquest you find this out, and then see that all along while you were playing Arcade mode it was Apep all along, throwing a twist into the story, and giving Apep a true ending. Also by completing Konquest you unlock him as a character, with one form being the beast and other as a regular human.


It does seem farfetched but that is what I consider to be a possibility. I think everyone here can assume that we will most likely be seeing Apep as a hidden character, to me that is pretty obvious. Let me know what you think
