Hmm... That is very odd. Have you tried restarting the console? That may fix it for you. If not, I'd call up Midway's tech line. It's on the back of the booklet, I believe.

all i did I was trying to go back to edenia portal an suddenly a custscene came. and now I can fight with scorpion. seems like the activator for the sequence was not in the place where the green light was. whatever I already was afraid everything was lost.
