there is no "game" difficulty, you can change the chess, puzzle or kombat difficulty, but u can't do it to batles in konquest...
BTW i can't beat scorpion in this place either, i had no trouble beating onaga or scorpion in the end of konquest and so on

you need to be on him like white on rice I beat him last night, I wish i could tell you who I was when I did it. when you do beat him you get 1200 koins (I got gold) and you get a kypt key that gives Shujinko "Scorpion's spear throw" specail move. Good Luck

I've fought and beaten Scorpion in Edenia numerous times with different characters to help out others on the forum and the character that I beat Scorpion the easiest/most with was Ermac. Just use Ermac's axe and do his (3 or 4 hit) combo (X,X,X for Xbox or Square 3x for PS2). And like the above poster stated, you have to stay on him like white on rice, a glass of milk, and a paper plate in a snow storm.

well, i beat him today too...
i just cycled like 10 characters until i could play Scorpion.
i used his famous combo starting in hapkido ( triangle, X, up+O, X, back+[] )
he used his brakers , i evaded his moves, and when he had no more brakers i made this combo, and at the end i made the sword combos

Use Liu Kang, lots and lots of Liu Kang. Thats how I beat Scorpion.

Simply put, use any offensive character, be it scorp, baraka, mileena or whatever. Just do not use characters like subzero or raiden, which are harder. for sub to be useful u gotta be smart. screw the ice clones and sometimes even cold shoulder. just keep movin. anticipate and sidestep, followed by a fifty percent combo. starting in kori. rinse repeat.

milenna is the easiest all u gotta do is use her sai combo and her sai pop-up combo scorpion wont even break it jus keep using it like crazy and you will beat him in like 10 seconds

I beat him on the first, second and third...try. Sounds crazy huh, but I found a little trick that seems to work, two actually. And they work for all the characters you fight against, well at least for me it did, with the exception of method two. I found these methods out by accident to be honest with you. Well anyway, back to the subject at hand...
First method: after completing a combo get yourself next to your opponent as quick as possible before he gets up off the ground. Then as soon as your opponent gets up you need to side step (to avoid his attack) really quick and start another combo to knock him down again so you that you can repeat the process. Incase you were wondering who I used: Baraka, nightwolf, ermac, and kenshi and it worked with every one of them.
Why this seems to work... once your opponent gets up he automatically try’s to strike you. If timed correctly, you get out your combo, repeat the process and beat him easily. That goes to say, if you’re lucky he/she does not get out a breaker on you.
Second method: This one only seems to work on certain characters and depending on the task you need to accomplish, IE: your opponent is healing and you’re bleeding. What you do is first get yourself in striking distance to your opponent then perform a low hit, then duck the counter attack right away, and then quickly grab (throw) your opponent and repeat the process. Again this all depends on who your fighting against and what the objective is, but again, I did use this method on many opponents and it worked fine.

With Mileena, you can use this easy pattern to beat just about ANY cpu opponent. Hit them with a teleport kick, then take a step forward and throw. Repeat until they die. After beating the game I wish there was a way you could always pick Mileena, because that pattern works all the time. That's how I beat Shang in the Netherrealm (well, I did the pattern for most of the match, then mixed in a Sai combo at the end). For whatever reason, the Konquest AI just doesn't block the telekick, if you do it right after throwing them.
Just remember... TeleportKick-->Throw

believe me or not, i actually beat him with Tanya. i was doing one of her combos again and again and i eventually beat him (took me about 10 tries).
my aunt on the other hand, use Baraka, she keeps on using his Blade combos plus his special move, the Fury thingy over and over.

How did you change characters? Did you just go and retrain with what ever character and that becomes the charatcer that comes up in a fight?
Li Mei has to be one of the weakest, strengthwise, characters. I just can;t get a good working of her.

the only way to switch character is by quitting the match (or lose) get out and start a rematch. my aunt and my friend gave me that advice to do that until you get the character that you are most superior with.
and Li Mei is really good to use, she has so many combo and she is actually strong (if you know how to use her )

If picked Sub-Zero, froze him, then did a big kombo.

I don’t think its THAT hard. I did it on my first 2 tries I think.
The one I really hated was Johnny Cage’s 12 combo mission with Scorpion. THAT was so fu**** hard!!!! He (so far) has the most difficult kombat mission IMO.
