This is a character that I made up a couple of days back.

Special attacks:
Rising pheonix- Creates a pheonix image out of flames that engulfs the opponent
Diamond fangs-Shoots out diamond shards that, after puncturing the opponent explode.
Diamond shell-creates a sheild around that renders him invincible for a short time.
Ruby reqium-Upgrades whip chain to ruby blades that, as it intangles opponent, the ruby spikes burn inside the wounds. Diamond Wave-Hatsuma raise a wave of diamonds out the ground and launches it at his opponent.
Dimension shift-form of lightspeed where Hatsuma gains acceleration by jumping through different dimensions, randomly striking the opponent with his whip chain.
Black Chaos-The ultimate attack. Hatsuma will use the power of pure evil, carnage and saddness and harness it into one pam blast that can dessolate intire mountain ranges. However every time he uses this power he becomes less and less human.

Fatality:
Sapphire Storm-Hatsuma raises sapphires from the ground. The sapphires morph into sharp gem blades. They turn at the opponent and launch them selves through the victim, tearing away at his flesh like rain.
Emerald Dragon-summons a two headed dragon made of emeralds from the ground. As it comes up, it intwines the opponent and then constricts them, impaling them on it's spines.It moves it's body counter intutivly(One layer goes left, the other goes right) it cuts the opponent to pieces before finally biting of the opponents upper torso.
Extinguished Humanity-Hatsuma charges his black chaos for one final blast, giving all of his soulto the chaos emerald inside of him. He shoots a blast so powerful, not only of negativity but also his pyro that it incenerates hi opponent. at the end you don't see a ninja, you see a spectre with an eerie blue glow and his soul engulfed in flames behined him.

Story:
Hatsuma was an elite shinobi who had no equal in when it came combat. However since he was a runaway shinobi he also had a price on his head.Many who tried collecting the bounty were sent back battered and broken or with missing limbs. Hatsuma was a ninja who mastered many animal fighting styles and the whip chain. He was also born with the unique ability to control fire. As he trained in his village his pyro skills he learned how to manipulate them into objects.Soon he was untouchable.

He did not let his power go to his head. He had an honor code which said he would not harm the innocent nor would he fight if he could avoid it.This code would eventually lead to his present predicament.

On one of his assassination attempts he found out that his target was a run away kunochi(female ninja) who was helping a family with a bandit problem.This went against the shinobi code and as punishment she was to be executed by the best, that being Hatsuma.When Hatsuma finally found his target he could not execute her. He was in love. However he did not realize that he was being watched on his mission, and by letting the escaped kunochi go free he marked him self for death.

One day Hatsuma stumbled upon an old temple for shelter. When he went inside his eye caught a black luster on an old Buddah statue. As he opproached it, he discovered that it was a black emerald. When he picked it up he was instantly engulfed in black and blue flames. The emerald then merged within his heart. When the fusion was complete Hatsuma fell to the floor unconscience. when he woke up he felt a strange power inside of him. Unaware of the fact that he had been discovered by his clan he stepped out side of the temple only to be ambushed. Still weary from his earlier experience Hatsuma was unable to defend himself. One of the ninjas tried cutting of Hatsuma's right arm, however as soon as the blade touched Hatsuma's arm his skin became diamond and shattered the blade. Overcome with anger Hatsuma lashed out, in so doing he raised a dragon made of emeralds that slaughtered the assassins. It was then that Hatsuma realized his power. He had the power to control precious gems, a secret and deadly weapon. It was also at that instant that he felt his soul darken. He realized that every time he took a life he gave up more of his humanity.He now realized that he could never be with the person he cared for the most, Iayka, the run away kunochi that he was sent to kill.

Late at night Hatsuma would find him self waking up in a cold sweat, drenched in blood with the bodies of those he has killed around him. The black chaos would take over his mind when he slept. He was now in a constant struggle between his humanity and the darkness that grew inside of him.

After killing hundreds of people the black chaos was fed and it evolved from a gem to a part of his soul. It opened a portal to Outworld and in the back of his mind Hatsuma knew that there had to be somebody there that can relive him of this parasite, friend or foe.
