Now, you can choose 2 ways: we can have ALL the metal/steel boxes open to reveal the characters and the “?” symbols. OR ALL the metal/steel boxes will open to reveal the characters BUT NOT the ones that are with the “?” symbol, you will not know what’s behind these steel/metal boxes until you unlock them with a key or in someway. Then they will normally open/unlock.

The select screen photos look GREAT! It would be a fresh change from the rectangular grid-like select screens from past MK games.

How long have you been drawing? I'm sure the MK team could recruit you as one of their artists

About the 2 characters select screen. What if the CENTER of the circle divides in half, showing the 2 characters BUT with a different pose, a VS POSE like in MK3 and MK4. Where the characters are facing each other, but this time, they throw glares and move their eyes showing their anger.

I think it would work.

Thanks dude! BTW, I kind of agree with you. I was actually happy with the character select screen from MKDA. I liked the characters pics and the background was cool even though it felt empty.

But I think characters should be animated and EACH should have their OWN unique background. It will make it feel more special.

Thanks! I also had the idea of dividing the center so it showed the 2 characters in a VS pose. That way both could enter easily.

Queve, i hope this gets implemented into the actual game. I thought the DA select screen to be weak and lacking heart, it just didn't quite get the job done.

As Deception will be the 6th (sixth, damn that means in getting old?) major installment in the series AND not to mention one of the most impressive looking fighting games around, THERE SHOULD BE NEW concepts EVERYWHERE, meaning midway needs to break barriors on ALL FRONTS!

WOW! Thanks dude!!! LOL. I draw since I was a little kid, but I don’t think that drawing is actually THAT good, it was done pretty fast. I could had done it better but I'm very pleased everyone understood and liked the idea. What I have is a big imagination though.

ok, i've added a couple of things: mileena, and the dragon logo on fire. I'd like to finish it as soon as possible, but i don't have too much time free neither my computer runs very fast...:p anyway, next will be adding the rest of characters and maybe put some more adornments around the big circle. I'm Not liking the whole Cylindrical thing though. the format like MKDA much like Soul Calibur 2 was good enough for me. But who knows what it will look like. ;)
