New Fatalities Suck

All the new fatalities seem to just be something about the person falling apart appendage by appendage, which sucks. Am right or what, or has this already been discussed? Submit, advise and criticize. ok Go.

I stated this issue in my thread an hour ago but not this much hatred i don't hate them i love them but they are becoming the same.

Individual fatalities have, but in the sense that all new ones suck, nope. I have to agree with you though, sure they're brutal, but they all just seem really dull and boring. I don't know, I just don't get that same old feeling I would when I'd see a fatality done on the old school arcade games.

i have come to realize that no matter what the MK team does someone is going to hate the fatality, even if they made a great fatality someone whould hate.
very doubtful. no one bashed the fatalities in mk2. even the ones in mk:da are better then some of the crap i've seen already. kung-lao, hsu hao, sub-zero... i dont remember anyone bitching about their fatalities in mk:da. point is, everyone likes a fatality that cuts to the chase. it doesn't have to be complicated.

simple is often good, thats why i like nightwolfs fatality. it down to the point. just cause a fatality is a bit more lenghtly, doesn't make a bad right away.

sorry, but not by my logic. its always based on opinion, though. i always prefered the short and sweet fatalities. Sub-Zero's new fatality where he decaps his opponent etc... is what defines short and sweet. all these new fatalities, you can just tell that the creator tried too hard to please you and he/she ended up failing... well not failing since some people enjoy the new fatalities, but you get what i mean. there trying too hard to create something that makes your jaw drop. so far, all the fatalities that take more than 3 seconds to complete are crap. something like kira's fatality just pisses me off, but im sure i told you guys that one before.

oh i see, yeah i guess they are try to force the fatality out. in stead of leting them flow nicly.

Exactly how I feel on the subject, like I said in my previous post, the fatalities are brutal, but just dull and boring they don't have the same effect as some of the old original fatalities once had.

This is because we have come to expect them now. I honestly don't think that MK could make a fatality that would please anyone the way they did in MK and MK2.
I personally like pretty much all of the fatalities so far...Mileena, Kira, Jade, Hotaru, Ashrah, Baraka...all have great fatalities that are easily on par with the MK2 fatalities.
They all follow the 'finishing move' formula that they originally had...some of the fatalities you guys are dreaming up are more like combo's or routines, which just don't fit in I'm afraid. That doesn't mean that I don't think your ideas are good, but i like having a move or simple action to finish an opponent off.
Also, remember that the finishing moves are essentially the games gimmick...not the most important aspect of the game.
And also, how come the same type of thread has been posted over and over? Does no-one read what has been typed before?...what a moaner I am this morning.

I still say, bring back some classics. Barakas Fatality from MK2 where he picks you up on his blades. Raydens Head Pop from 1. The heart rip. Not that they should be left just the same. Modified maybe, but only slightly.

Dont forget, there are over 24 characters in the game, so there might be some characters who we havent seen that have quality fatalities.
