this will sound really shitty to a load of people but wouldnt it be cool to start off with just one character from each side, eg scorpion, batman, and through completion of the story mode with say batman you would unlock one character from dc? this would alternate until you unlock each character. when you have the full roster i think it would be cool if say you chose to go kitana and complete the game with her you are taken to a crypt of kitana specific items such as bios, artwork, alt costume, additional moves, etc... every time you completed the game with a said character you have a choice from various chests, choosing only one and unlocking something specific to that character?

by doing this each time the replay value would be higher as you would battle through it to unlock all the cool things in the game, rather than a silly kurrency format.

am i weird? any other ideas? what do you all think?
