New Gameplay Idea: No More Dissappearences (please read)

So i was thinking after getting knocked down to the 2nd level of the stage your on i noticed that whatever you get knocked through that the pieces that fall with you fall and just dissappear. I don't like the idea of it dissappearing. So I was thinking maybe on your way down it would be able to hit you causing your life to drop slightly.
Also while it is still ont he floor when you atart to battle your opponent as you move and try and kick a person or doing something so your leg raises and there is a piece of debris infront of you that you could slightly stumble. And while you are stumbling your opponent will be able to get multiple hits off of you.
Idea 2
I was always thinking about maybe when your character shoots a projectile that when it misses instead of dissappearing into thin air that it owuld hit something in the backround damaging it and if you hit the right thing it might cause and explosion and unlock a new level to the board or a new place to fight but sitll on that same stage.
If you take the stage from MKDA for example where there were big balls of acid in the corners of the stage and spewed acid every few seconds. If your character was to hit it with a missed projectile then it would burst spweing acid everywhere and if landed in the right spots it would melt that spot and open up a new level of that stage.

Idea 1: Blood and glass and stuff disappear for a reason. The game can't retain all that data, so it has to refresh one a specific limit is reached.
Idea 2: I think this somewhat applies to the refresh rate as well, but perhaps this can be addressed on a lesser level in the future. Having projectiles hit off walls and such would ne interesting to see. The unlocking levels would take away from the gameplay. You're going to be too busy fighting your opponent to care about trying to unlock a new level or something.

Idea 1 might be ok for MK7 on the PS3.
I like the second idea too, i'd be a kool extra for the stages.

I like both the ideas with emphasis on the 2nd one. I'm working on a few similar ideas involving some of the debris being used as a weapon.

Great ideas, they would just need more computer resources. Programmers have to make it as efficient as possible for the platforms.
