What sense did it make to send troops over to SOMEONE ELSE'S LAND and bomb and destroy their homes and start a war? No sense at all!

I would hate to see this thread closed due to lack of relavancy to Mortal Kombat Deception. The whole reason I go to this forum is to get away from all the POLITICAL BULLSHIT. Granted no official harm came of it as of yet, but as ALWAYS it eventually will. I would hope that people could respect the rules of the forum and keep the discussion to Mortal Kombat Deception and leave the polital stuff out of it.

Well, I see this topic has gotten far away from the original idea. The only way politics and MOrtal Kombat should go together is if hey are performing fatalities on one another.

How many people think there will be secret moves in this game?
I think there will be.

I would say yes there will be hidden moves but only going by the same idea of hidden move that Deadly Alliance had. Such as juggle combos and alternative combos to the preset button commands. Also the thing to remember about any form of entertainment is that whats actually in the game and what is marketed can be two totally different things. I would not be surprised if the only thing they mean by "hidden" moves are the Fatality and Hara Kiri commands.

I agree with that BUT I wouldn't be surprised if we we had seceret fatalitys like lovality? Remeber a looooooong while back when some site or mag said that?

I know what they mean by secret moves. If you pay attention to the gamespot video he's talking about the PUZZLE KOMBAT, I highly doubt it's fatalities althought that would be hot. He said there's SECRET BUTTON COMBINATIONS to do secret moves in which to kill your opponent. You can check it actually, it's in the first couple of videos.

"Greg, does Mortal Kombat Deception ship the 4'th and come out the 5'th?" His response was, "No, we get the game on the 4'th. What we DO get though on the 5'th is the stategy guide." SO thats what I could get from him. The game comes out October 4'th, and the guide comes out the next day. And Greg is the manager of the store and has been since the store was put into the mall almost two years ago, and I have never seen him wrong about a game yet. So I trust what he tells me because he told me he had a source claim GTA: San Andreas was going to get pushed back, and I checked online a couple days later and it did. Haha.

OH DAMN I FORGOT!! Okay, he also told me a little secret. LMAO!! So can ya'll keep this on the downlow (even though I know it won't happen). Me and him chat about upcoming games all the time, he tells me about how his friends go to all the big gaming events and play them, and how he even went to E3 earlier this year just to play Deception. So anyways, he told me that he's been hearing for awhile about all the secret stuff put away in Konquest mode. He said, "Just to name a few, there are arena's, keys, koins, FAQ's, clues on where to find certain characters around what times, and BIG secrets." So I told him to be more specific about the BIG secrets. (Of course I did, I mean really, WHO WOULDN'T!? LOL) So he said, "There are secret characters in the game. Sort of like Blaze from the last game, Deadly Alliance." He said there will be not a big amount of them, but a fair amount which leads me to believe its probably within the range of 3-6. He said that his sources have been telling him that these secret characters are about as secret as you can get, and they will take a lot of time and patience to find. He said 20% of the games secrets won't even be printed into the strategy guide.
