as for cypress:

my friend, amy, used to do a fansite for them. it was the biggest cypress site on the net at the time ( www.cypressconnection.com )

so i just emailed her one day. i was like 16 ( 25 now ) and gave her props for the site since noone ever gives cypress the respect they deserve. and we just talked about music and chilling one day.

then we decided to meet up for the back2basics tour with limp, we did. hung out for 25 hours, just waiting online for tickets. took care of her etc.

the night next, she went backstage, and i just kinda roamed towards the exit telling people i was waiting for her. saw the alchemist. then sen walked by, he had a girl on each shoulder. gave him props for the show, then he asked me where the rest of the group was. i told him upstairs.

so about 5 minutes later, a guy walks up to me and is like "ive been looking for you" hands me a vip sticker, and i went up. and my homegirl amy was just chilling there watching limp performed. she was surprised as hell to see me. so no, she didnt get me backstage, noone does, lol. apparently if you go enough cypress shows you become a member, lol.

so we chilled, smoked joints, and talked about lots of shit.and i just got to know them.

but yea, anytime i went to a show with amy, we were cool backstage, even if they just saw me, they would recognize me and let me back there.

but if u recall, cypress performed at the wwe club way back. like in 2001 or something. anyway. i was at the club, i was actually on tv, getting interviewed by dj scribble at the begining of the show. i was the dude who was all rocked out in my joker jersey and my smokeout hat, hehe. i held the hat up to the camera too right before cypress performed. showed the hat to Bobo of cypress hill, since he was rocking the same hat on stage. he knew me though, lol.

i never did get to see that episode... i saw it live when i was at the club, everyone looked at me and cheered. it was tight..

if anyone knows how to obtain a copy of this show. i think it was called "Sunday Night Heat" very first episode of the new season, like, november 2001.

vip was chill there, but kinda tight. after that, we ( me, amy, bobo, and breal ) walked back to their hotel room, and just chilled smoked a dutch ( that breal gave me, lol ) watched like 2 hours worth of shows in europe on Eric Bobos cam. it was tight.

last time i chilled with them was in 2003, noone had weed. it was rather brief, but it was good to catch up on music with breal and let em know what i was feeling by him etc.

like i said, now, my homegirl amy is coowner of breals label, has done shows with cypress many times, and all that good stuff.

temples of boom was no doubt, their best album. they actually dont like it very much because they say it was a dark time for them. alot of pressure on them after black sunday to come up. but if i had to rate thier LPs, it would go a little somethin like this..

oh and noone whined about 33 112 33, like i said, it doesnt even matter because 90% of the characters who have it benefit from ac's alot more. 112 33 is truly connection dependant anyway. conn has to be REAL GOOD in order to perform them.

but for characters like taven, theres no argument because 11233 in weapon is 100% legit, you cant rejump after the 33. and the 2 added 33's makes up for the second ac being absent.

there will never be argument about 33's because they were based to take the 25% damage that acs do, but in elegant form (2 sets). nothing more. and without a 3rd stance, that damage is needed. take raidens 52% branch combo in MKD. take out the second stance, and there goes 15-20% right there. its just common sense.

anyway, i will check that PM out soon, sorry, just been out of it all week. i had a looooong fuckin weekend at my boys house, speaking of which. i need to call him
