i heard his arrows are useless, and that they're only for visual effects - on the other side i saw a video of mileena fighting him and he shot her with the arrow when she was on the red square, then she got pushed into the mean grinder ( slaughter house). anythoughts?

they would be good for dethtraps

he's probably another one of those people that think that the arrows should impale the opponent or something. personally, i think they're ok, but they shouldn't stay in the opponent cuz people are gonna bitch about it. they should be like normal projectiles, fizzling out after hitting the opponent, but fuck it. i still think the game's gonna be awesome no matter what (well, unless the lied to us about the "super-unlockables")

well i heard the arrows stick in you, but give you no damage. maybe they just shove you a little - pushing you into death traps, or maybe slow you down. impaling is not back though, even though the arrow stays in there for a while

I think the arrows impale you.
Anyway, I think they wont be useless at all.

By impaling I mean like the weapons in MK:DA, not just staying there. They don't drain energy after hitting you. There's a reason to that: people could just shoot arrow after arrow after arrow and win the match easily. What I was saying is they shouldn't stay inside the opponent as if they were impaled and having their energy being drained, cuz people would be like "why aren't you losing more energy?" and shit.
I would like the idea of them impaling you and sticking in your character for a little while so it drains a persons health for a certain amount of time, rather than being there the whole match and draining ur health the whole match, but I dont really care what the MK Team do to it.
I like that idea. If the arrows do stay in for any period of time, they'd have to do something, wouldn't they?

The problem with this logic is that after one arrow left, you could just fire another one, it would be just as bad as normal impale, even sirse since you couldn't block. I say it should deal damage if it hits without block and it should shove you a little if you do block. Nothing more, nothing less.

Thats why I use buttons called side stepping. lol j/k you bring out a good point there, they should have a certain limit for how many times nightwolf can shoot those arrows per round, but w/e I dont care much. lol
useless?
and other moves in fighting games that cause no damage are useless also?
the arrows are most likely the same exact thing as "pushing" moves....a strategic move to get in more longer-ranged attacks/punches/kicks

It could be a kind of power up: for each arrow in the body of his ennemy, nightwolf's normal attacks and combos would become a little bit more powerfull. The opponent could make the arrows disappear with a successfull attack of his own (one hit for one arrow, two hits for two arrows...)
This would solve every problem of gameplay and would add a strategic aspect. What do you think of my theory?

I wouldn't say that. Remember everything we see is from an old build. The game could have changed alot. It'll hurt you maybe impale. They shouldn't hurt you straight out. They should hit take energy slowly as they fizzle out.
I like this idea.
