How could Aquaman be in? There's only 3 spots left and one of them is Wonder Woman. Thus two spots left and they need at least 1 more villain, if not 2. Well, I suppose he could be the final spot but that would be a waste IMHO.

It could be a red herring but something tells me it isn't. Aquaman does happen to be one of the most prominent members of the Justice League. And no character so far has been a shocker. In fact, I think the 20 character limit has a better chance of being the red herring.

Besides, Aquaman is a genuinely great character. His reputation was apparently forever tarnished by that stupid Superfriends cartoon where all he did was talk to fish and get kidnapped but you don't see people holding Adam West's Batman over the head of Christian Bale, right? And this is coming from someone who likes Adam West's Batman.

seems like some sort of stage fatality even though they said there would be none. if it is an aquaman reference, i hope that it's him being thrown to the shark. it looks like one of ed's drawings, so who knows what it means. but it does look like they're about to reveal the water tool.
