all of those 2 characters are jokes,bugs,etc.

He has a purpose. He was a servent/spy for that was scouting areas outside the netherrealm for Shinnok, after Shinnok was freed he joined Quan Chi and Shinnok in the fight against earth but after his master's death he joined the deadly alliance and killed/mortally wounded Goro. So he does have some purpose.

Ok, first off, calm down... at the end of the day, it really is just a video game... no many how many Holloween outfits your mother bought you, Raiden is never going to zap into your bedroom and demand for your assistance as the fate of the world depends on it.

Second, its just his opinion, give the guy a break, you have your opinion, if you expect people to respect it, then respect other people.

But Ermac is Awesome I don't really care about his story, but I love the way he fights.

Ermac and Noob saibot are cool, but i like noob saibot way more. I'm dieing to see how his story is going to unfold. I mean, shinnok is gone, and now he has to either side with the dragon king, side with shao kahn (if hes in this), try to bring shinnok back to life, or go after quan chi. I think Noob has a big role in mortal kombat now. Not to mention the fact that he killed goro.

I'm also glad to see ermac, i'm anxious to see what his story will be for coming back.
Noob Saibot is wicked, id love to see him in MKD! and whats with all the dissing? Quit it!

magician.... inane comments like the ones your making arent welcome on here, oh boohoo so the guy who posted this doesnt like noob or ermac, grow up. If u wanna flame then go and set urself on fire, its not exactly a cool thing to do on here.

and to the guy who posted this thread, yes noob saibot was born out of the team of Ed Boon and John Tobias, and their importance is your opinion... but i dont quite see what this has to do with mk deception.

Why the hell did 34_34 get those skull points? I wouldnt mind seeing Noob back in MK cuz even though there is not much known about him he is still a real good fighter. I kinda think its bad ass that there is not much info about him cuz it makes him more of a secret

The sad fact is, that ermac was a fan made rumor based on a strange glitch and noobsaibot was just a joke. I think when they started giving the rumors and jokes actual importance in the mortal kombat games, it went south. Remember UMK3- Ermac, Rain, Noob, Animalities, Brutalities and then MK4? It seems almost everything that fans make up and end up actually being put into the game cause mortal kombat to suck. Ed and his team need to come up with things themselves and then maybe add or 2 things that the fans put forth as an after thought.

Also in MK1 and Mk2's hay day, the players were mostly teenagers ages 13-20. When the game started coming to home systems, that's when all the damn 4 year olds and 7 year olds got a hold of it. Which leads me to believe that in the later games when they added such stupid things that the fans made up, mostly was for the little kids making rumors and requests. I mean Rainbow colored ninjas? My favorite color is Purple or Red so this ninja's cool. Animalities? Come' on

I don't think the origin of a character really matters--it's the quality of the character. If thought and care was put into the character he'll be good.
