Exactly.. I really think it is safe to assume there will be no Nudalities in the game...ever. They are pointless and I think the MK team has a little more respect than that. Plus if they were put in you could almost guarentee that the game would never be allowed to release. Just look at all of the negative press Fatalities themselves got. Believe me people are a lot more touchy about Nudity. But I think you already knew that Saxtard.

actually, there were rumors that you can strip sonya naked somhow in mk2, but be it as it may, he may be refering only to women, only women.

Mabye you will be able to rip the opponents clothes in Mortal Kombat:Deception but that is all.No full blown nudity.

I was watching X-Play on Tech TV the other day.. and the adult-themed games are huge in Japan.

They haven't hit hard in the States, but with leaders like COLIN(powell), (george)BUSH, and DICK(cheney), they are not far from "in the works".

I don't see a problem with mature games, but it would be hell to get it going in America. REAL TV with violence, death, and mutilation is OK, but if you put a nude figure on the screen, everyone draws arms.

It's kind of ridiculous that we, as a society, find our natural form so offensive, but the slaughter of others so acceptable.

I don't know if you are talking to me or not. Possibly, you are. I would post a dignified response if I felt that it was necassary. You can view my social life however you choose to perceive it. It doesn't bother me.

I had just gotten back from my friend's party and checked what was new, note the time and no I was speaking of the guy who first posted this thread. I realize the US has a problem with nudity, but what I don't get in your arguement is, why in video games? What happened to the good games that don't need sex appeal to sell? It seems to me all that the gaming society has focused their games around lately or at least a portion of the game is based around sex appeal or some other kind of skimpy and unclassy kind of way. It's really low and pretty sad....

I know what you mean, but I would never be so presumptious to assume that something is low or petty. Many people dig that kind of thing. Again, they, you, and even I are only sacks of water(human).

I don't think that nudity sells... OK... I lied... It does... Look at the porn industry. I own ZERO porno movies, but the industry has grown exponentially in the states. Many people like it. I'm not advocating its proliferation into video games, but I do think it will get there.

Does it bother me?? No.
Will I buy one?? If it is a good game.

If there is demand.. there will be supply. It's just a shame that moral beliefs contradict with the natural flux of this ever growing, expanding, universe.

Wow... Don't you people remember ? In the original Killer Instinct if you picked Orchid , the only female in the game , one of her finishing moves had her showing off her breasts to her opponent and they were so amazed that their eyes stretched all cartoon-like in the breast's direction and then fell to the floor. To perform it you pressed back , back , forward , forward , low punch , in the SNES version at least. If you did the move on Orchid , her eyes didn't pop out and didn't seem amazed at all. Also Spinal (the skelleton) didn't have eyes that could pop out , but he was surprised anyway. It was pretty funny and you didn't really see the breast because Orchid turned a little and all you saw was her back. I don't remember people making a fuzz about that.

Anyways , I don't think Nudalities should be in MK.
