Alright, I am well aware that Boon said there'd be 10-11 characters a side.

However, I feel that, if the rumor turns out to be true, there will be more. The rumor I'm referring to is the one that says that Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Hawkman, Power Girl, Black Canary, and Robin are in the game. I say this because Powergirl, Robin, and Black Canary are in it. All of them are characters I could DEFINITELY see being in the game, but not all three of them, especially when there are only 10-11 slots and six of them are gone already. That leaves only one to two more slots. Then if the Darkseid rumor turns out to be true as well that leaves at most one slot.

As I said, the big problem is those three. There are many DC characters more popular and well known than two of them, and the other is from an already represented title. In addition there would be, at the most, two slots for villains.

The same rumor says that Kabal is in it. And a similar line of thought extends to him. I could definitely see him chosen for this game, he was practically the face of MK3, but not when the roster is limited to 10-11 from MK games.

So, just within the confines of this topic, let's assume the first rumor is true (and the second one if you wish). Based on this information, how many characters do you think will be in, or do you think it will still be 10-11 (even if this rumor is true) and Ed simply decided to surprise us?

Me, personally, I feel that, if this rumor is true, there will be at least 15 characters on each side.

If you don't want to assume the rumor is true, then there is no point posting in this topic, since that's what it is almost entirely about. There is no need to just pop in and say "It's not true" that's kind of a waste of time for everyone who is trying to have a conversation on this matter. We are all aware that it is possible it is entirely false.
