There are a lot of mysteries I've found playing Konquest mode. I'm not sure if the MK team through things in to keep us interested or if there is actually something more to be discovered. With Konquest's time oriented system, something tells me we may never truly know everything there is to know about this mode.

1. Wat is the point of completing Konquest 100%? Do u get anything and how in the world do u track ur progress? there's like no %complete or anything...( none, i could find atleast...)

2. Crow, when's the next update? This whole headband issue is killing me!! Lol

i am 99% sure that you can get the headband as soon as you train with nightwolf in the earthrealm
once you are done training with nightwolf go straight to wen the elder

I have to agree with that one, i just did that over the weekend with my third konquest. I have the headband, but can't find Kia in the Icecave where i heard he was supposed to be. It must be after you beat Konquest i guess.
(help is much appreciated).

Also, The Nitara and Cyrax deal i bevlieve is holding true.. I have left that box next to Moloch alone and they are still there. I also did not turn Nitara's location back to the Priest with the book (where you find Shao Kahn in Outworld) as a just in case issue. Hoping tonight i can get far enough to see if they will be there when i cross the bridge in NetherRealm.

you first have to fight and defeat kung lao at the shaolin monk temple in the earthrealm in order to see kai in the icecave in outworld. i doubt that you have to beat konquest to see kai, but because seeing kai is a mission you have to receive that mission from kung lao first and go from there

Ok. Shen and Wen are gone and everyone at the main temple are gone. The gaurds where Spirit Lui are wont let me pass still. I just opened the edenia portal. Have i gone to far? This blows if i have to start a forth game. lol

as long as you have the headband, then you will be able to see kung lao at the main temple in earthrealm. If he hasn't appeared yet, then keep playing konquest, get further into the game and check back every now and then to see if he has appeared. If worse comes to worse, beat konquest...I am sure he will be there after that

once you get the shirai-ryu message from the scorpion ninja in the hut. you have to go to the huts in E-8 where the "raiden worshippers" are
Talk to the woman in the middle and you will end up fighting scorpion. you will get a mask that when brought to the red lin kuei guy proves your loyalty and you get 400 sapphire koins

the helm is behind the building where everyone is whorshipping where you first meat havok

I figured out the last 6 fatalities/hara-kiris to complete the fatality list and the only person who gave me any cred was MrSinister7 on a different forum(it took me damn near 20 hrs). I posted them on other sites, as well, because the first that I found was posted here(Kenshi's Stretch), and than an hour later, someone tried to take credit for it elsewhere.

Ok, there are a few mysteries going around like Raiden's Staff and the ninja boy's ninja star. Another one I think may be Liu Kang in Outworld. Not sure of exact coordinates but he is on the west side of the town, Lei Chen, walking in front of a house. Every time I talk to him he tells me to come back later. Does anyone know when "later" is? I've posted two threads on this and never got an actualy response. Also what does he say?

Hmm I am a couple of weeks behind because I only got my import this weekend, and with no search function it makes it hard to look for this stuff.

How do I get across the bridge in Netherealm to fight Kobra, Kira & Kabal for Kochal??
There is a guard on the bridge that keeps knocking me flying because I am not allowed to cross.
I have finished that level and have moved onto Chaos Realm.

So what do I have to do?

Also, I've done Earthrealm. Where was Liu Kang?
Where was the White Lotus? I never saw any of that? I don't see it listed on the official side quests guide either...

find a Seidan guardsman and a man in a robe. The guard has arrested this man on suspicion of murder, though the man claims he is not guilty. Shujinko is asked by the guard to look around for any evidence proving this individuals
innocence or guilt.

Solution: He's guilty! A bloody knife with finger prints can be found at location D3 at approx 8:00 - 9:00pm.

Please update #6005 on the FAQ to state that you can trade 1000 ruby koins for 500 sapphire with Mavado as many time as you have enough to trade.

I thought it was a bug and kept doing it, not realising my ruby koins were decreasing while my sapphire were increasing by 500. I now have less than 1000 ruby koins ARGHH!! and I haven't opened anything in the krypt yet. So I lost like 18 000 ruby koins because of this.

I have been meaning to update this for several days, as I had located many of the missions earlier in the week. Version 1.7 should appear on GameFAQs later today.

As for the koin cheat, it will be listed under the glitches section once I begin work on it.

where do I find Shujinko's moves?

Hi. I'm new here, so please don't beat up on me too badly.

I joined to learn Konquest secrets, of course (like where the hell is Sindel's ring, and no, it's not behind that stupid rock in Edenia), but I did find something yesterday and it wasn't where everyone is saying to look for it.

Ashrah's alternate costume is in the Netherrealm, but not H1, like every other website has said.

It's actually in Netherealm at H4. From the center of the netherealm, go over the bridge Mileena is guarding and hang a right.

There's a dais (or some sort of structure). Meditate until it's about 6:00pm. Sometime between 6 and 8 pm a chest will appear.

You know the rest.

So, can anyone help me with Sub-Zero's alternate costume, Shujinko's spear or ice moves and what the hell am I supposed to do with that stupid note for Havik from that Baron guy?

My guide covers the Baron-Havik mission, as well as where to locate Shujinko's Spear move. This guide is more of a side quests guide, at this moment at least.

Crow's Konquest guide states something about a Year 99 mission or something, but does not list in the actual guide pper #8008. Can anyone help me with this and tell me where and what this is.

GLITCH: I began a new profile and started again in the Earthrealm Village. I noticed that once you are in the temple area at approximately 9:00pm where the dude in front tells you you cannot pass, when the villagers go to their homes for the night, if you are looking at the huts, you will see three people walk through this area. They actually come from the hut, right through the wall, walk a ways, turn around and walk back into the hut right through the wall. I have tried talking and punching to each person and nothing works. During the day, in front of the temple walls walking along the road they are the monk in orange, the old lady that speaks about the town, and the lady standing in front of the temple next to the hut. Just curious if anyone else has noticed this.

Earthrealm Village: Where the training academy is, I cannot open the doors except for where you train with Bo Rai Cho. I think there are 8, has anyone else been able to or is it me?

I need help finding Raiden and his alternate costume. I have gone to the places where he and his alt supposedly are, I have fought with him to get those two items and I haven't found them yet. Can someone give me more specific directions than just "go to this area and fight Raiden." I HAVE and I get crap.

First: Last night I received 1000 onxy koins in the Netherrealm from a skeleton that appeared and disappeared with a puff of smoke. The location was E8, in the cave, as you walk up, there is a skeleton lying on the ground, but as you get closer a skeleton appears, press the action button to talk to it and it gave me 1000 onyx koins and then it disappeared again.

I have also seen this puff of smoke in Earthrealm 2 different times. I thought it was my imagination so I recorded it on video tape. For the two times in Earthrealm I could not see who it was that was trying to appear, all I saw was the puff of smoke when it disappeared out of the corner of my eye as it happens extremely fast. Except in the Netherrealm, it actually appeared in front of me and stayed for a moment so I ran over and talked to it and it gave me money.

I have read every thread here regarding Konquest and have both Konquest guides and nowhere have I seen it mentioned.

Now, this is from my new profile that I started on Wednesday. I went through Crow's guide step by step in the order that is listed. And so far I have seen things that I have not seen or heard of before.

If needed, I can take a digital picture of one of the puffs of smoke in Earthrealm, but I have nothing from the one in the Netherrealm as it happened so fast and I got so excited that I wanted to get there before it disappeared and didnt have time to record it.

I don't know what is setting this off, but I had the four keys that you can get up to Earthrealm and I had the key you get from the dead body in the Netherrealm, plus completed all available missions that can be completed in Earthrealm Village, Earthrealm and the Netherrealm (In Netherrealm all missions are completion except for getting across bridge that is guarded by a solidier, anything past that has not been done).

The "puffs" of smoke in Earthrealm are Kintaro and Motaro. Motaro will give you 1000 ruby koins, and it seems you are unable to speak to Kintaro before he disappears.

I am stuck in Chaosrealm. I started training with NOOB and SMOKE and left training because I had to go to school. I shutdown properly and saved the game.

When I turned on playstation2 and entered my profile and went to KONQUEST, I ended up on a different lower plane from NOOB and BO RAI CHO. I can walk on the clouds and all all around but I hit invisable walls when I want to get back to land and that means I can't get back to a portal and I can't find an escape. HELP ME.
