Okay! Jesus since so many people are posting the dumbest of rumors I might as well spill some new shit for you guys (my boss doesn't know who this is either) so enjoy it:

-There will be 12 playable characters and then an additional 6 characters making 18 and 2 bosses that make a total for 20 characters.

-There will be 6 arenas to start off with and an additional secret 10 to make 16 arenas total and we have plans on bringing back the COURTYARD and PIT 1 as well as the PIT 2 and a couple others with stage fatalities (hint, hint: whirlpool)

-There is a new sub-boss and if you choose a certain character you will fight against a certain end boss (who I will add are secret for) you to find

-3 styles, 3 fatalities including a pit and like MK4 you can pick up and use other weapons from an opponent or objects on stage)

-The Krypt and Test Your Might/Sight will return

-As sad as it is for me to tell Scorpion fans his ending was true, he is gone... or is he...

-We are thinking of making a new character along the lines of a "Blade" type who hunts Nitara and her vampire race

-The Kahn/Reiko issue will be solved

And you may be saying "This sucks where is Sub? Or what does he mean Scorpion is gone???"

Here are your answers:

Scorpion is a big issue and we are deciding on if he will return as a secret character

Sonya was killed by Mavado who also killed Kano

Sub-Zero was killed by the Dragon King but Frost has all of his powers from Ice Freeze to another one featured in the movies...

Jax, Kung Lao, Bo Rai' Cho, Raiden (whose death is a very big issue in the story) and Kitana died in battle against the Dragon King as well

Reptile and Baraka will share very large roles...
