I think that checks combos have been appreciated by everyone who plays/played MKA or MKD. I mean your never gonna get a million views from posting something "cool" on Youtube, only stupid/ pointless vids get a lot of attention. I know you didn't get as much attention on your combos as you wanted but combo vids don't really get out unless its Tekken Street fighter or whatever other classics thats been made.
Well those are just my thoughts.

Agreed , Check my man , if the front page here doesnt mean anything to you then i dont even know why i try . . . .

i dont think i look up to anybody on MKO more than you , and im shure you know that by now .

Live2Die: So you're Infryno, huh? Makes sense now that i think about how bad you beat me under that tag as well.

Bone: Did you cap your matches with Mortal25?

The PS2 went back to my girlfriends house, so i'm gone for now. I'm thinking about a PS3 for these reasons:

- MK8
- free online service
- more players than XBox
- i use the PS controller even on the XBox

Are you guys playing on a PS3? Is it backwards compatible? Can you transfer the memory over to the new system? Anything else i should know?

This is a response to some comments someone made in the thread i started in the MK Games 2002-2006 Forum:

I feel the same way. That's why everyone plays so hard in this game: they want to win. But not just because it's a competition, because losing feels so fucking bad. This game, by its design, can turn a little MK fun into MK hell when you're up against a master of:

- 50/50
- free throws
- infinites/semi-infs
- spacing
- autorecovery
- fast/safe attacks

and there's no shortage of guys who play this well on the PS2. You don't see this anymore on the XBox. In fact, it feels so bad to lose over and over badly that people stop playing the game altogether. What should happen is that people should go into the rooms (Beg, Adv, Exp) of their respective skill level. Everyone just piles in to the Beg. room and the experts kill everyone in there, and then have gg's with each other. It's aggravating and even embarrassing to get killed by the experts.

The best way to play this game is with people of equal skill level: Then it's challenging for both instead of being a lopsided slaughter. Unfortunately people have abondoned the game instead of practicing and playing to improve. But EVEN IF YOU DO--there's still going to be players that will kill you. So it comes down to:

- play people of your own skill level as much as you can
- play better guys as much as you can stand losing and learn
- stop playing altogether

For myself, i've done all three. But i keep coming back. Like an addict. I just gave the PS2 back to my girlfriend so that i can't play online anymore since it makes me feel stressed and anxious and angry and even violent. Who needs that in his life? I hope that Midway will defy its reputation and make a more playable version of MK with the next game, but it's more likely that it's going to have the same dynamic that allows people to dominate each other in a match and wind up driving new and middle level players away. We'll see.
