October 4, unless it comes out a little bit early, which is not completely out of the question... that's the story with a lot of games.

I'm going to have my copy October 6th at the EB Games store.

On October 4th the game can be sold legally. If you're lucky you may get it on the 4th but the 4th is the shipping date... so in most cases the game won't actually be available until the 5th. Just expect the game on the 5th and if you get it on the 4th then good. Ever since the release date was announced, I expected to get it on the 5th. THAT way, I don't get all pissed because it's the 4th and I don't have the game. Just call your store or visit them on the 3rd and 4th to be sure.
