I say any character that has a model in the game with the 3 fighting styles, is unlockable. It should be pretty apparent by now. I'm not too sure on Sektor anymore, since cyborg Smoke is also in there. Ah well.

i dont think anyone in all that can be in the prison stage in a cell is unlockable.

But could Cyborg Smoke and Sektor have similar models? Pardon the pun but Cyborg Smoke could be a "smoke-screen" for Sektor perhaps?
Sektor could have Cyrax's MKDA styles?
Is any styles from MKDA, apart from Cyrax's, still unaccounted for?

Hopefully someone can make this thread sticky, it'd be nice to not have a Super Unlockable thread on the hour every hour!
Sadly i live in england and don't get the gmae till next , month, but even i think there is like 10% that even one super unlockable even exists. I think the only reason people think they do is because some theorised that there might be, once.

supposedly there are about 8 other chars to unlock other than shown of the char select screen according to what my friend read or heard from ed boon

It'd be nice, but i'm jsut trying not to get my hopes up you see. :) I'd imagine it'd be a code for those profiles myself!

Hey, if were all gonna be looking for super unlockables, then I think we should definitely be on the look out for Kochal. After you beat Kobra, Kira, and Kabal in the netherrealm,it says that Kochal is "awaked from his slumber", a portal opens, but when you enter it you end up back at the netherrealm . We need to find out who this guys is especially since hes so hard to get.

i have a feeling theres only 2 "super" unlockable characters, those being quan chi and shang tsung

I still feel there is one in the Profile Kode entry thing... I mean, you're able to enter your profile while online, but does that really do anything? Because when you go to view profile it only has the CPU wins and 2 Player wins, not online wins... so why else would you be able to pull up the profile entry online? Or maybe I'm just dumb :)

Okay, since someone brought it up, we need to figure out who or what Kochal is in the Netherealm. It's a fucking bitch to find, seriously man. I've done just about everything I can in that damn realm. Maybe I missed something? LOL I've talked with atleast 70% of every person in that that doesn't growl or hit you for the hell of it. Haha.

Hello all, Newbie here but thought I'd add my two cents.
First off I'd venture to guess that anyone you fight in Konquest mode might be a super-unlockable. After all they are already in the game so it wouldn't be much to make them a playable character.

Those are the only two that I know of and have fought. I would guess these to be the most possible and possibly only ones likely available.
Secondly, there is a loading screen that has a bunch of MK Characters on it.
Motaro in the foreground, also has Rain, Kintaro and a few others. Ermac can be seen floating with his MK:D costume on as well. Food for thought on that.
Lastly, there is one stage that is like a "prison" stage and there are a bunch of Classic MK characters locked up. Frost and Kintaro to name two that I noticed.
On another side note, I bought the special edition that came with MK1, and I'd be willing to bet that they added something to it. Wouldn't be surprised if Goro was unlockable in that version some how.

Kochal is simple to find. You talk to an oni who states that when he is needed within the icy, Kochal summons one there. If you haven't made it there yet, there is a platform in the north-central part of the map, a structure with Kobra, Kabal, and Kira on them. When challenging them it says "Defeat them for a reward." If you notice, when you lose it says "You have lost. Kochal still slumbers." When you beat all three of them, a portal opens in the middle of the platform. Upon entering, you arrive at the entrance of the Netherealm, except this time with a chest of 1,000 Onyx Koins awaiting you. I assure you, not worth the trouble of beating the three. Therfore, Kochal, is not a real character. He's apparently a god like figure in the Netherealm, he who opens the portal to transport oni.

If you go into the Kontent, and go to videos, you see a Goro bio ... maybe he is in it.

Another thought...
During Konquest when you are back in the Nexus, you fight someone called Monster. He basically has Scorpion's moves, but has a skull head and horns sticking out of his shoulders.
Maybe that could be an unlockable outfit somehow for Scorpion?
