Well, Liu Kang has definitely made a great come back in deception. Not only is he brutal, he finally received a new storyline and a new look.
I love Li Mei, she is amazing and has improved greatly in MKD, but I think Liu kang can easily beat her.

in Li Mei's story she won a side tournament held by the Deadly Alliance and was promised freedom. she just fought a bunch of characters that weren't important to the story and the point of the tournament for the Deadly Alliance was to get souls for the Dragon King's army. she really didn't win anything too important to the whole story. anyways though Shujinko just steals everything except his looks and name from a lot of people while Scorpion is much more original in everyway. i hope Raiden's ending is true.

wow first you thought Li Mei was a bodyguard of the Dragon King cause of her armour (after we found out her official bio), now you think Li Mei actually "won" MKDA? very interesting.
anyway, my vote goes to Shujinko.

Scorpion. Shujinko is a waste of character space. I never liked characters designed with multiple specials from other characters in the same game. I would have much rather have seen him be somewhat like a random select similar to how he is in konquest. Somewhat of an element of suprise for both kombatants

she allies with the DK after deceiving all of her former "allies", so yes, she is a bodyguard of the dragon king.

Yes, ive seen her ending (about 20 times) and hey, i apoligize to get off topic but your getting the facts all wrong. in her ending, she didnt become his bodyguard. yes, she did turn on her allies but only to by some times to let the DK combine the Kamidoku thing but that doesnt mean she is his bodyguard. she was transform into his queen, not a bodyguard, theres a difference. Also, she did not win the actual DA tournament. she won the fake tournament, made by the DA so then they can steal her soul to revive the mummified army. she has nothing to do with the actual tournament. and again, i apoligize for being off topic.
