It could be a great battle. Brother againts brother against Scorpion against Smoke. Older Subzero sent Frost to try and take out his younger brother because he wasn't up to strength yet or for her task for entrance into his new Klan. It has a few good possibilites.

I'm having a feeling there will be another Sub-Zero

Younger Sub-Zero would kill his older brother. The older Sub-Zero was relatively young at the time of his death; 32. He had done very few missions, and was an up-and-comer.

Younger Sub-Zero is now probably about 38 (Older SZ would be 43). Younger Sub-Zero has fought countless badies, participated in multiple tournaments, and has the power of the dragon amulet.

I know a lot of you guys hate younger Sub-Zero because he's a good guy, but he would mop up the floor with his brother at this point.

Not that this fight will ever happen. Sub-Zero's older brother is dead.

Older Sub-Zero's return: After his death Sub-zero was sent to the netherealm where he fought hideous beasts, oni and demons. He grew very powerful and after several years in exile he found a portal to return to earthrealm and find his brother. He returned to earthrealm and went in search of his brother. After a long journey he finally found his younger bother but to his surprise Sub-Zero was very powerful and had turned the Lin Kuei into a good people. Older Sub-Zero attempted to convince his younger brother to make the Lin Kuei evil once again. Younger Sub-Zero would not allow this to happen. Older Sub-Zero was furious and attempted to take the Dragon Medallion from Younger Sub-Zero. They began a fight and the battle raged on for hours until the Younger Sub-Zero threw his older brother off a cliff. What Younger Sub did not know was that his brother had managed to hang from another rock down below. Older Sub-Zero then Trained in exile once again until becoming powerful enough to defeat his younger brother and take over the Lin Kuei once again.

Unfortunatly I agree. I know older Sub had a good time in the Mythologies part, but yeah. Younger bro may have more fighting exp.

This was more of a what if, and if anyone wanted to ad their view.

This time the older Sub-Zero was equal to his yonger brother in strength, speed, and freezing ability. He planned a sneak attack on the younger Sub-Zero as he waited in the shadows. As the young Sub walked by the older sprang on to him and delivered a series of blows. The younger Sub quickly countered an once again they commenced a battle for power over the Lin Kuei. This time the older of the 2 had the upperhand. After a long battle, the younger Sub-Zero stared death face to face as his brother had gained incredible power. Finally the older Sub-Zero finished off the young one by impaling him with an icycle up againnst a wall. Sub-Zero then retuerned to take control of the Lin Kuei. Sub-Zero then returned the Lin Kuei to its previous state before his death.

As ErmacMK5 pointed out Older sub-Zero wasn't evil and wouldn't try to change the Lin Kuei, or bothered about his brother's power, as far as he was concerned he took missions off whoever paid him the most whether that person was good or evil.If you need confirmation on that play Mortal Kombat Mythologies, it's story explains everything clearly, from Sub-Zero vs Human Scorpion, Quan Chi killing the Shiryu Clan and the first battle between Sub-Zero vs spector Scorpion in which Sub-Zero wins (otherwise you can't continue)

Here is a story on how Sub-Zero could come back.

Sub-Zero had been in the Netherealm for nearly 10 years. He was located in the 3rd Astral Plane where there was no hellish inferno, just dark coldness. Sub-Zero had suffered for his crimes he commited in Earthrealm and he was angered at his death from the spector, Scorpion.

For 10 years Sub-Zero desired to escape the Netherealm and get his revenge on Scorpion. Sub-Zero had developed his powers by absorbing the hellish cold from the Netherealm and had become an extremely powerful being in that plane of the Netherealm.

The Dragon King had been revived and he was an extremely powerful being in the Outworld. No creature living could even touch the Dragon King with his new found power that he recieved from an ancient amulet he obtained nearly 100,000 years ago. Quan Chi's Deadly Alliance was crushed by the hands of the Dragon King and Quan Chi managed to evade death.

Quan Chi had used the powers from his amulet that he stole from Shinnok to create a portal to the Nethrealm and had unleashed a legion of Oni to spew forth in the Outworld. Sub-Zero had managed to escape the Netherealm in this portal and he was stranded alone in the Outworld. Sub-Zero had returned and he is out to seek vengence on all who betrayed him.

This is how Sub-Zero starts a rivalry with his brother and continues it with Scorpion.

Sub-Zero had learned of his brother's actions while he was absent from Earthrealm. When he relized that his brother transformed the Lin Kuei, he was enraged. Sub-Zero had sacrifieced his own life to serve the clan he knew and had suffered for so long. Sub-Zero seeked out Quan Chi and was ignorant to the fact that the sorceror had betrayed him in his life on Earthrealm. Sub-Zero first wanted to vanquish Scorpion to never return from the Netherealm for all eternity. Sub-Zero's part of the deal was to kill his brother and transform the Lin Kuei to its original tradition.

Younger Sub-Zero (AKA "the real Sub-Zero"): Stronger, faster, more powerful, more skillful, and much more heart then big "little" bro .

The true Sub-Zero is all heart baby.

The bad @ss Sub-Zero of today would OWN his screw up of an older brother, who got himself killed and disgraced himself by failing his mission. It may have been the little taint of evil he had in his heart which led to his eventual pathetic downfall at the hands of Scorpion (in his most feeble incarnation by the way). Ewwww Weak. Steadily and repeatedly, like the painful shower scene in a prison movie... FATALITY.
