Yeah, but it's one thing to have aguy posting the 5,000th thread on Smoke who has only three or four visits, as opposed to a guy who does the thing with 300 visits.

And to state something that was asserted earlier, if people are new of haven't been around in a while and have a specific question, they really need to search through the previous pages before they post a new topic here.

And to maon about it every other week only adds to the clutter. There's a reason why the previous pages are still up and there is a search feature. YES EVEYONE, there is a search feature built into the site! Look under the discussion tab at the top of the page, under the banner.

lol, ouch DMitch... well I got flamed for creating a similar thread in General Discussion, so I feel where you're coming from ErmacMK5, but seriously, creating a thread that 20% of the people on this site will ignore, 80% will believe is really a picture of Scorpion than leave when they find its not, and only 6 people will actually post on... kind of a waste of space on the board as well...

a well-meaning, if pointless argument... there will still be a google of threads on the same subject because of the overabundance of idiots on this site

Here's my philosophy. No matter how new or old you are, you shouldn't make a thread without appling a little bit of intelligence. Posting a thread that says skab = noob because some fansite says so it ridiculus. Yet we've seen more than 20 of those, and I have a horrible feeling in my stomach that says they're still coming.

But that annoying bullshit isn't the damage. The damage is done when people post so many stupid bullshit pointless threads, that when a new user actually has a simple innocent question, he gets slammed because it's a repeat. I don't ever want someone to get flammed because they asked a question. Even if it is repeat, there really isn't no harm being done. People get so uptight over that fact that it's been asked before, they go ape-shit crazy and tear the user apart.

And it's all because noobs post shit like "Smoke is a cyborg, and you kids are all wrong because there is no way he could change." That shit is unrelentless, and when a new user posts a thread ASKING "Is Smoke a Cyborg," The guy gets fuckin shredded. Let's save our scorching for the idiots and not for those who truly don't know any better.

I gotta start making stupid threads ranting about everything I dislike. It looks like it's becoming a pretty big fad around here.

Very well said. I'm still a newb or whatever but not all of the new people are complete morons. Sometimes people do have legit questions or they might have a theory that deals with the storyline of MK and they get bashed for it.

Many of the newer people think this would be a place to come to ask questions they may have. I thought so too. Not everyone bashes the new guys but most do and it's wrong.
