Well, guess I'm just hard to impress. I've been keeping a close eye on all the added gore and fatalities and so far have been (unfortunately for me), unimpressed. I guess maybe it's because I just played through doom 3 and have watched the in-game combat videos for Prince of Persia 2 and have been spoiled in what gore can really look like. The ideas behind the fatalities I've seen so far, listed in everyone else's above posts, have been good. It's just the graphical effects and follow throught that seem way too simple or maybe even laughable. I mean, just watch Nightwolf's head decap then follow this link to the Prince showing Nightwolf how it's really done. =)
