OK...i came up w/ this theory( b/c i was bored) but it kinda keeps growing on me....so i was thinking what if there was gods that NO 1 knows about..and realms that NO 1 knows about.......
And i also decided that if this theory was true then they would have to add a new character.
... heres my story :
no one could defeat the DK or his army. So the last chance was several gods
came down to fight the DK.... Even the gods were having trouble fighting the dk and his army
slowly every god was defeated but for every god that was defeated 200 or more soldiers were defeated

The last god that was left...summoned all the power of himself and of his fellow dead gods and wiped
out the dk and his army...the god (Ladon) fell to the ground...(the once beatiful realm
,the god realm, was now so horribly messed up it now was forbidden to all...its where some gods are buried)
Ladon buried all the gods he even dug his own hole b/c he knew his death was coming soon..
he swore Onaga would never return( too bad he didnt know about the eggs)
Ladon fell into his grave....another god (Venus) ,god of plants, buried him and protects the
"DEADREALM".
NO 1 knows about this realm or these gods
.....But when Venus finds out the DK has come back she decides she must go and help defeat the monster that destroyed her fellow gods....AND GET REVANGE THROUGH MORTAL KOMBAT!
Thats it theres my teory and new character that could be in the game if the theory was true...
EDIT: ( more info added) Later on Shang fnd this out and this is how : Shang was sent to the neatherealm after he had died from the explosion.. before he tried to escape..he searched for scrolls and found a very old scroll ( what he was looking for) Ditto from what u see about how the dk died above..... Venus was very sadden to find out her lover (Ladon) had died. Venus Info: Sex:Female godess ( godess of plants) Name:Venus Age:75,000,000 weight:115 Height: 5'7 Origin: the godsrealm Clan: the gods fighting styles: Allies: ALL DEAD Foes: The DK alignment:GOOD special moves: Seeds: shoots out a millon seeds ( it comes out in a ball shaped form w/ green aura of life energy around it) plant wave : a wave of energy from all the plants ( and life) around her perennial- (draws energy from all around) makes a shield around self which defends her for 15 seconds if hit explodes and damages enemy) Poision- shoots out a green blast hari kiris : 1) takes her staff and shoves into into her neck! 2) summuns perennial for too long ( the energy shield keeps getting bigger and bigger) and she blows self up Fatalities : 1) summons Venus-Fly-Trap it shoots out of the grown and bites the enemy's head off then finishes the rest off body. 2)Summons roots..roots begin to grab a hold of person intertwining itself w/ the person holding them tight to the ground and not being able to move.......Walks over and his head off with her very sharp tree staff. Weapon : Staff that was made out a branch of the "great tree" that resides on the "godsrealm" the staff is always glowing just a sharp and hard as a sword! animality: turns into a raven and pokes out enemys eyes Story : no one could defeat the DK or his army. End Video: She fought the DK for an hour as her luck looked dim ( she was gonna die) she remembered how Ladon swore the DK would never return...since he was no longer their to keep that promise she decided she must gather up everything to defeat the DK and keep Ladons promise. She stood up and and got full of Anger and she began to strike the DK swiftly and strongly ( but she stayed foucused and did not let her anger make her lose all concious and control) The DK stumbled back....and knew his defeat was soon so he he summoned his army... ( he figured while the fight her he will regain his strength) She than pulled out her staff and said a very loud spell that shook the walls of the dk's castle........She striked the groung with the staff the "GREAT TREE" arose from the ground she began to gain enerfy becoming stronger and more powerful....... She sent out several poision attack sending alot of soldiers back... She then summoned perennial ( but she was able to make it more powerful now without hurting herself) She carged toward the soldiers one threw his sword out at the shield...it blew up and sent all the soldiers in to the pit of spikes that surronds the dk arena... and it hit the DK so hard he fall to the ground.... As the Dragon king began to stand up she sprung up towards him and shoved her staff right threw him and kicked him back into the spikes.... Several spikes now sticking out of the DK body.................... She sent the "great tree" back to wher it belonged With the last bit off her energy she shot out the "plant wave" at the DK his head bowed to his death... The DK was finally defeated and right before he died Shang Tsung came runing into the room and summoned the DK'S souls but put it in an ancient vessel. That holds all great and powerful souls. But as it opned a soul flew out............... Ladon : the god of sorrcery and strength Ladon and Venus left the room together... Thats it..what ya think...sry if ne mispells
