Once again it was a pleasure playing against you. The Mileena tactics proved to be an irritant for you but I'm sure you will figure he out to consistantly beat her. Now it seems that I have to look out for your Li Mei because you suprised me with her and that Ashrah was very hard to fight. You are one of the best players that I have played online, I havent lost 18 games in one sitting since I bought this game!! We'll do it again later down the road.

Sure thing, I'll be on later today cleaning up my list. I have to try the Mileena tricks out on multiple high level players like you and asmodeus. She's got a nice poke in her second stance, it's nothing like Kobra's but it offers a few neat options for different attacks. I played asmodeus yesterday and Millena seemed to be really effective though they were really close matches. We were killing each other match for match. We finally quit at about 20 wins/ losses a piece. That was fun. I saw your Kobra vids, they were awesome! One of the combos you did that ended in Kickboxing I had done but you've shown me the light with those other juggles. I will add them to my list of horrors LOL!. I'll see you online.

Thanks again, your one of the best fighters I've fought as well. Maybe you can help find a sure fire way to stop bo rai cho fighter. last night it seemed they all came out. I can hold my own and win about half but I can't win consistantly....Ideas?

He's pretty much right on in saying this about Bo. Your best bet is to play keep away with Kobra and better yet be just as nasty with Bo yourself. But that gets boring so stick and move with good distance fighters such ad Kobra and Dairou. One good thing about Kobra in the Kali sticks is that if you manage to corner Bo, you can sit and relax right next to him and poke him to death. The recovery time on the Kali sticks is much faster than most anything he can do. I found this out today playing one of those cheese hounds. you may trade a couple of times going for a mix up with b+3 but he cannot push you far enough away to stop your pokes from hitting again. By the way redsaleen02, why the hell did you quit durring our session? It was 3 to 4 in your favor and I was just getting started with Millena. No sooner that I won with her and we get to the select screen you jammed. Did you have some sort of an emergency? Those were some good games and I was ready to even the score and better yet exceed it as long as Bo was not a factor.

i play on an acrade machine joystick, i hit buttom 4 by mistake, than hit button 3 to cancel it out instead of 4, it was my fault,,, was not an on purpose leave/

it a mk3 layout, with and extra button above dead center where hp and hk would be run is used to change styles, hp (1) lp(2) hk(3) lk (4) and the extra button is the throw button, gutted out my x arcade intrenals this way i can use the same controler for mame too. just flick the switch.

No problem man, shit happens. I also play on an arcade stick. It's a modified Pelican Universal Real Arcade stick. I removed all the shitty original parts and replaced them with actual arcade parts. Now the stick is worthy and I have the ability to use the mic. Thats interesting how you have your button layout. Mine is layed out like this:

I'm gald to see another player besides myself has realized that this game playes better on an arcade stick than a feminine pad .

intresting shorter learning curve, use too it, i would say if i had a good joystick like that or if someone would take the time to build one i would pay 50-100 dollars just to see if it was a good stick. but, it would have to be a skinny type sf joystick i like those not the one with the stupid ball on top.

If you purchase the Pelican Universal Real Arcade Stick from Gamestop you can order the actual arcade joystick, switches and buttons from gamedoc.com. You will need a phillips screwdriver and a soldering iron to detatch the old parts and then attach the new ones. Its fairly easy. The hardest part was removing the nuts from the screws that held the old joystick in place. The manufactuar glued them down so some needle nose plyers are in order for that part to come off. Once finished the stick is fantastic. I have an additional brand new stick of the same make and its unmodified. I used it today and the difference was imediately apparent, it felt loose and flemsy unlike my modified one. The game playes so much easier with a stick but since you a pad player any joystick will have its learning curve for those new to arcade sticks. Once you learn it you will never go back to pads for fighting games, it will feel awkward.

Sure, I can do it for you. You have to buy the parts and I'll put them in for you, just let me know when you get everything and we'll set up a pick up and delivery date. Either that or I could walk you through it step by step. You would have to have all the tools and a soldering Iron though. The joystick part is pretty cheap, it's only 10.00 and the buttons are like less than 1.00 each. Oh yeah, you will also need some switches for the buttons and the joystick part. Once modified the stick is easy to repair if a button goes out. Simply remove the switch which is just snapped into place and snap in a new one and re-attach the wire.

Hey, asmodeus those were some very good matches. The mics got screwed toward the end. I had to go because my wife was ready to go to the gym. We will face off again later down the road. Playing you has helped me to improve my strats and helps me know what to look for durring a match. I'll be developing some new set ups with Li Mei to test out next time we play.
