I'm quite curious about it myself. Not a lot is known about the online modes, other than the fact that they are online.

I'm guess that whoever "hosts" the game will get to choose such things. The question I have though, is what will they be able to choose? Round time? Number of matches for a win? Handi-cap? Death traps on/off? I guess we will have to wait untill October to find out.

The other thing I was curious about... Mortal Kombat is itself, a tournament. It seems odd that Midway will not be holding any kind of online tournaments for the game. Especially with the PS2 version, as the servers will have to be maintained by Midway.

They will probably have certain things like win-loss records, no doubt. But, I would really like tournaments to be held. Maybe tournaments where you would have to have a certain number of matches won, or played, to be eligable to enter.
