I got a double flawless again one such person, using Jade against his Jade!
When I lose my acccount, I'll start the in depth trainin regime I had for Deadly Alliance. I'm no where near as good at Deception as I was with DA. Sometimes I wish it were DA online instead of Deception. I find DA more fun in some ways.

I played that guy too a couple of days ago, i won 13 matches and he took 5.
Most of our fights were my Kobra vs his Darrious, but he didn't win any of these.

I did challenge him yesterday too.
We played like 3 matches, for which he won one.
He used Baraka vs me and is really good with him as he knows how to play him.
He knows most people usually block to expect the FF+3 and he used it by coming to grab. If I ducked he started a middle pop up and combo me in blade stance for huge dammage.
Mind nerving battle, but I managed to win the last 2 fights out of 3
I went down in the rankings again, but I dont mind if it was for a nice battle, most important is having fun

I like Dairou a little more. In the non cheap way as I told you. That's how I use him.
And I know about Jade. I'll be revising a lot of stuff with her. She will be improved! Lol! Though I find I play as her less nowadays, so I guess that's why I'm not as good with her.

I dont know if you could call it annyoing, but when he used Baraka vs me, the fights were hard to win as I was always afraid of his FF+3 and he used that to come and throw me or to pop up me with a middle if I tried to elude his throw.
He doesnt have many variations though

wen he was baraka, he asnt ery good, i saw all his moves cumin, but i no baraka cus im prety good with him. the only person he culd beat me with was darrius, but that was the cheap way

The best way to beat a specific character is by playing with that character.
That way you know all his moves and know exactly when to strike back.
Too bad I dont like Baraka, so I never bothered using him.

You don't need to play as that character, Cap. Observation is good enough. Baraka has some serious lag times that can be exploited by faster characters. Which is why Ashrah rapes him!

I usually wait for a blocked 'Mutant blades' attack to rape them pretty bad.
Problem with his normal blade combos is that they do follow turtling

lol, i just played this guy, 'razor barb' or sumin, and he was baraka and i was havik (thats rite tgrant, ive turned into a havik kinda guy now! eva since that chess game ive liked bein him... neway) we were on that nexus level, and i beat him the first round by nokin him out the arena (flawless victory!) so, next round i just stood next to the side and let him push me out, cus thats wat i usually do to people if i think they r new or not 2 good, wich i thawt of this guy, cus his scoresheet thing sed 0 wins and 0 losses, but it must have been a bug, becus l8r i saw he had wins and losses (dus neone else notice this with ther) so now, he started playin qwte well, and we were like neck and neck at the last 5 seconds, so he was just keepin his distance and blockin cus he had slitely more health than me, so in the last second i did haviks bak breaker taunt and won! it was well funny, he hit 'no' before i even got to that screen! good ol' havik!

Im starting my MKD training regime today. Im having to adapt the one I had planned out for MKDA and add new stuff, which isn't a problem. I'll probably be online less. Although, send me some game invites. I'll sign in and stay signed in whilst I play.
Btw - You guys ever noticed the game on Arcade mode moves twice as fast if you're signed into Live whilst playing?

I noticed that too (although I did sign off) that after playing online and going straigt offline, the game speed is doubled (tripled in some cases)
Dunno if its because online playing goes slower than offline that I seem to see the speed doubled (even tripled) but I definetly noticed a serious speed increase.
@ Jimbo: the ranking system is bugged, but we all know that by now. Usually, players with a loss and win records got a 0-0 shown for an odd reason. It happened to myself also once, for a bizarre reason I suddenly had 0 win and 0 loss (I liked that 0 loss number, lol), but it was back to normal a few minutes later. Also, on puzzle fighter, I was once ranked 17, then one day I checked my score and I was ranked like 192 and it never came back to normal (Im still ranked 192 for an odd reason I still dont get, its like the 2 extra losses I got on chess combat, which never happened in real battle

yes...that speed glitch happened to me also. i was dairou facing my bro (he was nightwolf hes good with him) sand all of a sudden its like 4 times faster than normal play....it was unbelevable...it took hardly ne time to win match(cant remember who won tho). lol tombsonte drop was annnnnnoooyyyyyiiiinnnnngggggggaaa.lol it was so fast i could do it agen and agen ad agen

You mess up right at the beginning of the match, teleporting my champion next to your leader, though you’d forgotten where your trap was, and then as the round starts when I attack you leader, the connection conveniently fails. You owe me another shot at that leader, man!
I’ve had enough of people pulling and disconnecting today. The same guy pulled twice on chess when I was about to beat the leader. Kenny Death pulled on Kombat. And that cheater Cangry pulled before I could get my win. We were on the Sky Temple and I'd knocked him down and before his player got smashed to bits, he pulled! This n00b with the gamertag ALEXD76 also pulled! There were others too. I’m sick of it.
On a somewhat happier note, I beat MK Dan at Chess Kombat today and a dude with the gamertag Gamiolis said he’d heard about me from several other players. I proceeded to destroy his special move less Jinko. It’s nice to have a reputation. Lol!

I have faced Tender Pea twice in Chess and something like 4 or 5 times in normal combat.
The connection is sometimes bad, but its not Tender Pea quitting on purpose, that I know for sure, he is not a sore loser and stays till the end (if the connection doesnt fail that is)
The other players you mentioned, I did face them too, and yes, most of them are sore losers and quit when they are ready to be raped badly or get a fatality.
I dont care anymore at this moment and actually always start laughing when they suddenly quit.
It just shows you how sore they are and imagine how helpless or angry they must be for not being able to beat you and quitting as a last resort, lol.
Just imagine them on the other side saying or thinking stuff like: 'grrrrr I cant beat him' or 'wtf I'm getting raped here' or 'how dare he is humilating me with a fatality' and they pull off the connection cable out of frustration.
I usually dont get the point for winning if they cut the connection cable, but its well worth the laughter I have at that moment, imagining their frustration

And now I am the angriest I've been all day! I was playing some guy and I have no idea what they did, but as the Fatality was starting when the bars raise, the game just froze. There was no message sayng that the connection had failed.. I was waiting ages and had to switch the XBox off. I come back on Live and it's come up as a loss even though I'd won! I dropped from 3rd ranking to 22nd!!

I don't know. It doesn't matter anyway. I took five losses purposefully later as I was training with DJ. We were teaching each other some combos and tricks we'd learnt. So we took 5 wins and 5 losses each. The rank isn't important to me anymore.

Ouch sorry to hear that TG, that sure suks a lot.
You play a lot of consecutive wins, climbing up pretty high in the rankings, and suddenly lose your rank for a loss you didnt had, I know your feeling.
It happened to me 3 or 4 times, and I can confirm for sure its because of a bug in the game (when you trigger the fatality too fast, without being in fatality stance, the bug can happen, online or offline.
I did post a thread about it on the following link: http://www.mortalkombatonline.com/content/forum/showmessage.cds?id=37081 , and got it confirmed as well (and it seems you experienced the same thing)
You can be sure it wasnt Kenny Death doing the trick on you, so if you want to fatality him safely, just remember to put yourself in fatality stance, the game will never freeze that way
