I posted a message a few days ago about how i REALLY wanna see Radien, Sonya, & Kitana in MK Deception. However, one character I forgot to mention was in fact Shinnok. Now some of you people might say "who cares about Shinnok", but if you guys think about it, with the rumor of Radien's death in the beginning of MK Deception, I think it would make perfect since to have Shinnok in the game also. Afterall, Shinnok is Radien's father...and it might be interesting to see if he actually played a role in his son's death since he is an Elder God.

Gimme some feedback...what do some of u guys think of this idea..?

...I don't think they are related. Remember, the movie plotline and the game plotline is different.

Interesting thought; it would also make sense for him to possibly be in it cuz they claim they can't make Shang Tsung morph and if he's dead or out of the picture; they could use Shinnok instead (hopefully with some other moves though as well as the impersonations)!

I thought Shinnok was a badass boss in MK:Mythologies.... he looked like a fallen Elder God and he was as powerful and hard to beat like an Elder God. If he was portrayed like that in MK4 instead of a Tsung ripoff, he'd be my fav villain rivaling Kahn. His storyline and the character itself has tons of potential, even after his failed attempts to claim it after MK:M.

I agree. He has a good story and very good potential to develope. Only problem is that they made him a Shang Tsung rip-off.
I'd be interested to see him return.

Shinnok using other character's special moves in MK4 made him feel really "God-Like" to me. If he was in MK:D, He could just have his own fighting styles and his lance from MK4 along with his "Special Mimic" ability.

Shinnok is not Raiden's father. That's only in the movies.

Shinnok was disappointing in MK4 but he was just a victim of things having to be cut out like his own move set because of Mortal Kombat going 3D was the 1st time, if they tried him again and put more effort in2 him he'd b as gd as he was in MK:M

Gameplay-wise, I think Shinnok is the worst character ever.
Story-wise... he was very interesting, BUT his story is over. I don't want him back from the Netherrealm again.

Don't worry. he's dead. And I don't mean in the Netherealm. I mean extinction.

Shinnok did have an interesting plotline, but I think all the negative publicity he got from his MK4 presentation has buried him for good. Maybe after the Dragon King has had his run and Shao Kahn gets has a comeback if he gets one we'll see another elder god with an attitude, but I think Shinnok's gone for good aside from Konquest cameos.

Hmmm I didnt like Shinnok in MK4, because he was kinda lame, adn a poor Shang tsung rip off.
I do admit he ahs good potentail though. In MK Gold, he brought Mileena back from dead to kill Kitana. If the rumours are true that mIleena is sent by her master to destroy Quan Chi's protector (Baraka...they were allies in MK:Gold) then he might be making some kind of return. He'd be mega pissed at Quan Chi for betraying him and sendin back to Netherrealm, so sends Mileena after him and Baraka.
But Mileena's master coudl also be Shang tsun/Shao Kahn. But I reckon its Shinnok.
