anyway, i kinda like Subby's look now (the shredder one). it suit him really well.

i think sub zero looks great in deception but I think in general all the MK2 looks are the best of any mortal kombat and their style has never been recreated. MK 3 even is miles away from having the same feel, MK4 is obviously incomparable and Deception and DA give a style to the characters more like other 3D fighters. At least they aren't afraid to shake things up but they don't do always do it for the better. Why Reptile was so bad looking like an actual lizard is because he loses his enigma and becomes a dumb beast which he was not in MK2. Baraka is the dumb beast not reptile, he should just turn into a reptile for his fatality or something.

Okay, I love all new looks, I loved all old looks. I adore (couldn't think of a stronger word than love) all the looks from MK4. But hey, every ones entitled to their opinion.

i agree i also am kinda mad about scorpion's battle armor look he looks kind of wrong

i like sub-zero's new look, it looks quite fighting for him, very cold, powerful, etc.
i hated reptile when he was a ninja (oh my god i am so going to get flamed for saying i hated the ninja reptile), in mk4 he was just a bag of shit painted green, but in mk:da he FUCKING ROCKED!!! i loved the pimp daddy reptile look!!! hehehe... truely he was kick ass in it.
and i think the new outfits are good, face it, times have changed, people should go for the new looks and not think about the old ones, its good to have memorys but some things just have to change.

I loved the MK4 ninja reptile, its his alternate outfit. It was his green scales and his ninja outfit combined.

They could have made Reptile better in MK4. IN MKDA he's looks were the best. Back in MK1 when he was a secret (they had to go with a ninja you see) and in MK2 he was a main character, the ninja looks suited him well.
They had to change him ,since it wasn't alright to see another ninja (lok at Ermac, he has a mask, but he isn't a ninja like Sub-Zero) in the game. plus they had done a very good job making him.
A ninja suit with an iron/steel mask covering his lizard form would be awe-some. Keep the tail, it gives him the special edge for a character.

I love Sub Zero's new look. I love how all the Ninjas are becoming independent in terms of look.
I also like the 'evolution' of Reptile into his Lizard form. It gives him character. I thought he looked good in MK4, he jsut had crap moves lol. He was good in DA too.
And as for Scorpion....I just dont like him. Character, storyline, look moves and all.

I think the reason for Reptile's de-evolution is explained in Deception, that he was pre-destined to serve as the vessel for the Dragon King's return. I loved ninja Reptile because he was just always one of the classic ninjas. In MK4 home versions when he had his second alt, the green ninja outfit with the scaly skin, that was my favorite look for him.
As for Sub in Deception, I love the Shredder look, and Scorpion looks very bad ass.

Sub-Zeros MKD costume is cool but I was a big fan of his MKDA alt. I like his alt in MKD just as much as his primary. I dont see why everybody hates it though because its pretty cool. Who care that hes almost bald.
Ermacs new costume is amazing. Its so cool and fits him perfectly. Mileenas costumes are both great too!!! Smokes new look is cool but I dont really like his alternate.

I like subs alt in deception better than his first. I liked his DA alt alot too. The shredder look is cool but has gotten old now since he was one of the first characters seen in MKD - plus it dosnt look very good while he is fighting.. and the fluffy neck thing blends in with his skin and looks like he has a huge ass neck. I liked the ninja reptile too - hated the DA one. Scorpion looks crappy gold.. his MKD alt rocks.. i want them to give him a not so dull costume in the next mk.. a more brighter one.. like yellow not gold.

Reptile-zero, I can’t agree with you more. I loved Reptile’s outfit in MKII and UMK3, but after that he started to look worse and worse. As for the new costumes, hmmm... Sub-Zero doesn’t look all that bad but I still prefer his classic look, same goes for Scorpion. All in all the new costumes are an ok as they change it up – but – you can’t go past the classics.
