I think most of us have already assumed that MKD will be returning to the MK1-3 format with the Dragon King, in that he won't be a normal, selectable character. I think most of us are happy about this, since Shinnok in MK4 and the DA in MKDA didn't provide much of a challenge compared to Shang Tsung in MK1, or Shao Kahn.

However, in MK3 (and UMK3/MKT), we had the cheat menus that let us select Kahn, as well as Motaro. I thought this was a cool feature since it let us experience the might of these powerhouses at our own control. So my question is, do you guys think there will be a way- be it a cheat menu, a code, a special condition, or what have you- to play as the Dragon King and/or the sub-boss of MKD? SHOULD there be such a feature? If so, how should it be implemented?

I would rather not have the Dragon King as a playable character. I liked the fact that the boss was so powerful and the only time that I could ever see him was to work my way through the game just to reach the level where I could engage in combat.

I think the DK is better left unplayable. As for the chimera, I want to try that sweet ass creature out. It would be also coll if you could play as Moloch. I really wanted to try him out. He really made hard to get to the weak, pathetic DA.

The Dragon King being playable should be the final secret in Mortal Kombat Deception. You should have to:

-Unlock every secret character.
-Beat the game with every character.
-Beat Konquest.

And then, you do a code. He wouldn't be playable for online play either. I think people who want to play as the dragon king in their own home though should be able to though. I just think you should have to have absolutely mastered the game to unlock him.

And the krypt too. Everytime you finish something it will give you a part of a code. And when you're done with everything, you'll have the full code and you'll be able to play as him. Just an idea...

I don't think you can play as him in my opinion.
