possible 2nd fatality for subzero

i posted this same question asking what people thought subzero's 2nd fatality could be, where I thought that it was his classic head rip fatality (which I would very like for it to be). I knew i had read somewhere of this possibility and i just found the article at gamespot where they talk about this.

when the first teaser trailer was released, everyone remembers the frustration that there was in trying to figure out the split second snippets shown throughout the trailer. there was much speculation as to what was being shown.... and they showed glimpses of subzero's ice fatality, one which we have seen in, and a possible other fatality, one where he is behind an oppenent and in a position that appears to be like grabbing his head. quoting from the article posted on gamespot:

"The trailer showed tantalizing glimpses of a few choice fatalities from our icy-blue ninja, which seem poised to follow ably in the footsteps of such classics as "rips out spine" and "punches head off." "

So, does this mean that it is possible that subzero could have his second fatality be the classic head rip? If so, GREAT! i would love to see how the classic head rip would look like on this game.

anyways, what does anybody think?

I would love to see the classic head rip. I don't have any further information regarding the topic though. Just an opinion.

is that the one where he feezes the victem and then rippes off his/her head and slides back using ice power and throws the head n spine at the frozen body shatering it?(sorry i f i spoiled it 4 u)

i have already seen that one. i am talkinga bout just a remake of the classic head rip fatality...his 2nd fatality.

i really wouldnt wanna see it back since he more or less rips the head off in his first fatality. So i figure i would look the same just without the body being frozen. they should give him a new one or go as far as giving him another old one like the ice grenade.

He should have the ice grenade or the frozen rip in half. The spine rip is good but he already rips the head off in the first. It would be pointless. Maybe a new one involving throwing an icycle or something.

Ok first off both of those glimpses you saw were from the same fatality. Sub first freezes his opponent whole body walk s up rips off theres head does a ice slide back and throws it at there body and it shatters.

Both glimpses that we saw from the trailer were not from the same fatality. we see a glimpse of subzero doing his freezing, which is from the fatality that has been shown to us, and another glimpse of subzero holding the oponent's head. these are two scenes from two different fatalities.

so it is confirmed that subzero will have both the freeze and throw head with spine fatality and the classic spine rip fatality? who confirmed it?

He doesn't throw their head AND spine, just their head. The "spine" is actually Kenshi's blindfold hanging down.tongue

Hey,

it's true. I was just looking at the fatality video right now and it is blind kenshi's blindfold that shows...not his spinal cord. so he doesn't take off the head with spinal cord as has been reported after all. he just takes off the head.

so this means that we are going to have the classic spine rip fatality after all!
