This is just a thought of mine, and in no way represents what I really think is the truth. This is an unlikely scenario (highly unlikely) which I believe could greatly contribute to Kenshi's story. We haven't really heard anything about Sonya, Cyrax or Jax in this game.... (at least to my knowledge). Kenshi was presumed to be working for the special forces in deadly alliance, but he always seemed out of place in there to me. I thought his story about seeking reveange against shang was much more interesting and had little to do with him helping the special forces members. What if Kenshi used sonya and the others and tricked them somehow. I am not saying that he killed all 3 of them off, but perhaps he manipulated them in some way... explaining their absense from this game. Or it could be as simple as Kenshi being separated from them after the fallout of Deadly Alliance and is on his own. Hell, it could be something completely different for all i know.... I dont know, but I think it would be cool if he betrayed them somehow for some ulterior motives. It would really add to his already interesting story. Maybe him and Ermac devised a plan which included the betrayal of the special forces members. the only problem with this is how kenshi is still listed on the side of good....Anyway you slice it, I am glad to see that sonya and the others are taking a rest from this game because the whole special forces vs. the red and black dragon storyline isn't doing it for me anymore. Not saying I hate sonya or cyrax as characters, just that storyline was becoming stale.
