Its Noob

It's not Noob. I've never heard of Midway putting Alt. Costumes in Renders. And plus, they said there's a character with a discusting name in an interview....hence Skab, and I don't think any other new character could match the name Skab more than he does unless they wanna over do it and make him a Drahmin rip-off, which I really don't want them to do because he sounds badass.

In that video, they probably just put Noob's name and picture because they weren't done making Skab's yet and they had to test play him. Simple as that.

This is off a website not a crap one either You probably remember the exclusive Skab render, that Mortal Kombat Secrets provided two weeks ago. Unfortunatelly the information in the Official German PlayStation 2 magazine has been wrong and this was not Skab. The warrior on the render is actually Noob Saibot and one of his alternative outfits. We, here at MKSecrets are very disappointed with this magazine and the wrong information they provided. Below are the screencaptures from two of the MK: D trailers that proves the identity of the warrior on the render:

Not just that, I just find it hard to believe that the magazine would make up something like that and put words in the mouths of the people interviewed. I mean, they said there was a guy named Skab, I'm sure other magazines have said there is a guy named Skab, and until I see proof FROM and ONLY from Midway saying that is Noob Saibot ON A PICTURE, not from a test demo of the game, I will believe it is Skab until then.

Well here are my opinions,
I think the gut with the cobra is ether the cobra or ben guy.I also think that the guy that looks like ken could posably be a created character, since he looks like ken and has sub-zero's stance. I also am not sure if the guy being kicked by cobra is noob or skab. though that german mag has been wrong by saying raiden is in the game,but he is going to die in the begining video, someone told me.

listen, scab so far has been described as a dramin meat sort of character. So I don't think they would dress him up so heavely. That looses the hoal zomby look. I don't think it's a move midway would make. it's probubly somone else we havent found out about yet.

Thats what i was thinking as well. Why is everyone saying its Ben when he is in fact wearing black and yellow pants and a black and yellow face mask/hood. As far as i can remember a black and yellow ninja = scorpion.

To me, Ben is obviously Johnny Cage, "Hollywood Boy" in a blatantly obvious costume/hairdye disguise. Considering the jokey nature of the name/look, seems like only Johnny can be behind this. All part of the "deceptions".

Know that pic of Noob in the German OPM? Look an inch to the left, and you'll see a render of Sub-Zero in an alternate outfit.

And regarding the guy with the yellow/black/white outfit - I'm not questioning the logic of "yellow/black ninja = scorpion", but that character doesn't look the slightest bit like a ninja to me. It's a guy wearing a sleeveless hoodie and track pants... So I really doubt it's Scorpion. I sure as hell hope it's not, at least!

I'm a student of Shotokan, and yes, it looks like a Shotokan Foward Stance. has sub written all over it.

Maybee it's my eyes but the 1st pic looks like Baraka vs.Baraka.And the 2nd pic looks like some thug wannabe vs. Hotaru possibly

But remember, the SHOTOKAN fighting style HAS the same type of stance as KARATE does in MK:DA (Johnny and Sub) and Ben is a martial arts champion, so KARATE will suit him good, so I think its Ben, both costumes, oh in the 1st trailer, look good when they show ben... Ben is standing in the same KARATE stance...
