If there's going to be a tage feature, I hope certain teams have their own fatalities.

Scorpion and Sub-Zero: Impalement- Sub-zero creates a large icicle facing upward. Scorpion tosses his spear at one opponent, and then lifts him over his head and tosses him onto the spike. Sub-zero drags the other next to the icicle and uppercuts him onto the icicle. For good measure, Scorpion sets the opponents on fire.

Another team fatality:

Shang Tsung and Quan Chi: Deadly Alliance: Shang Tsung and Quan Chi both toss either a flaming Skull (Shang) or a Green skull (Quan) at one of their opponents. The simply explode. Then, Shang Tsung sucks out the other guy's soul, while quan chi summons the his bodyguards from MKM to tear the cadaver apart.

The idea in general is Exellent. With the MK Team changes when introducing the right effects (sounds, poses...) I think it's gonna be an outstanding fatality.
In this case, Liu Kang must be related to Lee Mei's story.

I don't know why it's not one of ur best fatalities.

Hehe... You want team fatalities? How 'bout Bo-Rai-Cho and Blaze:

Blaze cand stand between Bo and the opponent, Bo rips ass, and Poof! Toasty!

How about Animalities but in a different way than MK3...

Each character has an animal or a creature...that represents him.

exp: An eagle represents Kitana. When she does the animality, she calls for her eagle and all of the sudden the eagle comes and pull out the eyes of her opponent (like in FantasyX when the girl calls for her flying creature, a dragon).

exp2: An evil animal looking ghost/spirit represents Shang Tsung. He calls for his ghost when doing the animality, the ghost comes and replaces his opponent's soul because the evil ghost hunted the opponent u'll see the opponent going crazy, runing, sceaming, beating himself....like in the Exorsict movie.

THis is For Quan Chi if he returns. He takes out both swords and attacks the person. He cuts of the fighters legs and then there arms and as there last breath comes he lopps of their head.


Scorpion: Takes off his mask and blows fire burning of their arms and then he takes his sword out and chops them in half.
Jax: Grabs them and rips of their arms and then he uses their arms to smash their head .

this fatality is for one of the lesser characters so the popular characters still have normal fatalities.

a solid blow to the upper spine causes the victim to become a quadriplegic, which means theyre paralyzed from the neck down. they are laid onto the ground face up and a food tube and water tube is via surgical procedure connected to one of the victims veins each and a steady supply of food and water is automatically given every 8 hours. victim then is blindfolded tightly with a few blindfolds and a good firm pillow is placed under his head so he cant bang his head to death. a modified catheter is inserted into victims penis so his piss can be transported up into a suspended mechanical bowl above victims head that periodocally opens to splash piss on the victims face, then the victim is left for eternity to suffer the agony of not being able to do anything.

Here's another one I did for Scorpion.

Scorpion takes his spear and rares back as far as he can and throws it at his victim extremely hard and fast. The camera is like right behind the spear (it looks like it's riding it) and then spear goes straight thru the victim's chest and as it does you can see the inside of the victim's chest since the camera is following the spear.

The spear has the victim's heart on the end of it and as the spear soars thru the air, the blood splashes onto the screen. The camera stays on follows the spear until it gets right at the wall and then it zooms out and the spear get's stuck in the wall.

The victim has blood draining out of his mouth holding the rope of the spear already dead. Scorpion then tries to pull the spear back to him, he gives three good tugs, but the spear still stays lodged into the wall. Scorpion then grabs the rope with his other hand and gives out loud yell and lifts one of legs into the air and brings it down hard and busts the ground underneath him.

He then jerks the rope hard and it dislodges from the wall and comes back soaring at the victim's head and goes straight thru his skull as you see the point of the spear stiking out of the forehead of the victim. His eyes are rolled up in the back of his head.

Scorpion then becomes in-raged and his eyes turn to flames and you see fire come from his arms and they go down to his hands and ignite the rope. The victim burns and turns into ashes. Fatality.

heres one for mavado:

he begins walking around real slow and depressed behind his victim. he continues doing this until he gets right up behind his victim then the victim snaps out the daze and bitchslaps the motherfucker across the stage. lol

what did everyone think of my other fatality idea a few posts up?
i think shit like that would add a darker feel to the game, and make it better.

another fatality idea:

subzero: victim wakes up extremely groggy from an operating room table, life support lights blink and beep, all a sudden subzeros hand goes into their spine arching their back out of the bed, dripping blood everywhere, then life support lights go red and have a steady beep. subzero tosses the spine into the garbage can.

Kenshi (against Scorpion):
Kenshi stands a few feet away from the dazed ninja spectre and slowly draws his katana. He holds it in front of him as he begins to chant softly, the katana's blade becoming red as the power of his warrior kings ancestors posess the blade. When it becomes at full strength, Kenshi shoots forward at the still dizzy Scorpion with lightning quick speed. He plunges the katana into Scorpion's stomach and then pulls the sword upwards through his torse and ultimately all the way through the top of his head. Scorpion screams and staggars about as blood squirts everywhere.

Scorpion (against Nitara):
Scorpion stands quite a few feet away from the dizzied Nitara. Scorpion then suddenly performs his classic teleport move but rather than punching Nitara, he grabs her from behind. He then takes out a small daggar and stabs her in the lower back with it, making her cry out. He then uses the same daggar to slit her throat making blood squirt everywhere. And to finish the job he wraps his arms around her neck and gives it a solid twist, making Nitara's neck snap with a sickening crunch before letting her body slump to the floor.

So, what did ya think of those two? I'll post more if you all think they are good.

It's a good fatality for Kenshi but NOP for Scorpion's fatality

How about combined fatalities?
eg: Noob throws a blob of oil on the enemy and scorpion finishes of with a fireball.

I, particularly, do not like this fatality idea.

1) It's kind of a plain idea.
2) I do not see much potential for this idea.
3) Character doesn't always have to use his/her special move, but if they do use some sort of weapon in their fatality, it should be one they use, (unless the dagger you're talking about is Scorpion's spear head.)

I should have been more specific on the Scorpion fatality, the "daggar" is actually a kunai which were used by ninjas I just couldn't remember the name of the weapon.

I could come up with a better idea though, cuz' I do realize now that the fatality actually does suck. Glad you all like the Kenshi one though. A pimp swordsman deserves a pimp fatality I'd say.

Here's another one I made for Sub-Zero.

Ol' School---Sub-Zero walks up to his victim and stands in front of him for a second or two, then he quickly grabs his victim's sides. Sub-Zero the quickly twists his victim's torso completely around until his back is facing him.

Sub-Zero then grabs the victim's head with both of his hands and very quickly twists their head and you hear the neck snap. As soon as Sub-Zero twists his victim's head around he angrily rips it off.

Sub-Zero turns his body 180 degrees around from the momentum he gets from ripping his victim's head off. The blood from the victim's spine splashes onto the camera. Sub-Zero then raises the head of his victim and looks at the camera as blood drips down his arm.

The victim's body then falls to the floor and blood gushes out of his neck. Fatality.

I thought of a good one for Nitara at work lol.

Nitara (Against Li Mei): Nitara takes out her two kamas and darts towards the dazed Li Mei. She then plunges the sharp blade ends of her weapons into Li Mei's torso, roughly just below the part where the rib cage starts. Li Mei lets out a pain filled scream as blood sprays out from the wound. Nitara then twists the kamas so the blades hook onto the inside of both sides of Li Mei's rib cage. She then pulls them apart, making Li Mei's stomach and chest/rib cage rip open, spilling organs and blood all onto the floor. Nitara the withdraws her weapons and watches as Li Mei staggers forward a few steps before slumping to the floor with a pitifully weak moan.

That's some-what of a good idea, but can you come up with a fatality that doesn't involve the inflicters weapon?

I liked all of your ideas (except for the Scorpion one), but I think you could come up with some good non-weapon fatalities.

I think I have some good non-weapon fatalities ideas right now, but like, I just woke up not too long ago and I think I need to give my brain more time to start functioning correctly lol jk

I'll post some probably later this afternoon before I go to work.

Li Mei (Against Sub Zero): Li Mei hops back a few feet and does a very Bruce Lee-esque pose as Sub Zero just stands dazed. Li Mei then breaks out into a full speed run and does a jumping roundhouse kick to Sub Zero's stomach. As she lands she begins to throw varying kicks and punches at him with rabid speed (think Brutality). After a good twenty blows are landed she winds up and throws a massive punch right into Sub Zero's chest complete with an x-ray shot of his ribs shattering upon impact (Romeo Must Die style ). She then hops up onto his shoulders and twists her body snapping Sub Zero's head all the way around backwards with another x-ray shot showing the snapping of Sub Zero's neck (like Tanya's bone breaker move from MK4). She then ends the fatality by doing a massive hurricanrana, slamming Sub Zero's head to the floor with such force that it cracks the floor. And also, upon impact another x-ray shot of Sub Zero's spine is shown and every single one of his vertebrae becomes compacted and ultimately shattered from the sheer force of the impact.

How's that for a non-weapon fatality?

I stand CORRECT! I told you, you could come up with a good NON-weapon fatality.

A Fatality for Mileena or Baraka (if either of them are back):

Basically, when you see Finish Him/Her, Mileena or Baraka jumps on top of them from above, bringing them to the ground. We then get a camera angle looking down from above at either of them just chewing and eating away at their face like a wild animal (we don't see them chewing on it but we know they are, because it's from above; sometimes our imagination is better at picturing how they are eating their opponent's face). Then we get an eye level view from the front as Mileena or Baraka look up with blood and flesh and muscle are all over their face as their like "Mmm!" Then maybe we see the mangled face of the opponent.

I'll post the same idea I've had for a long time, first person perspective fatalities. It would show the fatality from the eyes of the person perfoming or receiving it.

Imagine the gruesome possibilities...

Here is 1 for you all. It's Scorpion

"SKULL BLAZE"

....Steps back, once again removes his face/skin mask, his eyes begin to burn into flames[like the MK movie]....then shoots out a redish-yellow flame that ingulfs the opponent. The opponent screams out in pain as they look at them selves as their skin begins to melt away from their flesh. They drop to their knees and take their last look into Scorpion's eyes as they fall over in a pool of blood and melted skin.
