umk3 online only plays good when both sides have 4 stars. which happens 10% of the games. for the most part i wouldnt say umk3 plays better than mka, same concept applys. those dsl and shiity uploads, create button delay for the better connection.

until they can make it so both sides have the exact same upload/ download speeds all online games will be one sided, usually favoring the shitty connection, cause the supperior connection will match there speeds, while the crappy conenction wont match the better connections speeds giving that person unbearable lag.

all routers and firewalls should be banned for xbox live for starters.

@Red, well although most fighters play "not that well as oppose to offline" obviously, I'm just saying UMK3 overall plays much better online then MKA does...MKA the lag/online play just kills the experience after a while if you can't adjust. That's what I'm referring to.

As for firewalls and such, I have no idea as far as xbox live and firewalls but I know for the DS and PSP online if you have a strong firewall it can effect online play unless you set it to accept certain online devices or disable it competely.

Which gameplay you prefer, thats a opinion, but which gameplay is actually better? Thats a different type of thing.

As UMK has a lot less abusable glitches, balanced characters, and no easy to do infinites (well, there is one, but its very easy to avoid) so technically, umk3 has better gameplay, thats a fact if you want to get technical, which ever you prefer is a opinion.

MKF's opinions or so called "facts" as he would call it are all based on how well he competes in a game. In MKD he couldn't hang with the big dogs so he used MKA as an excuse on why he would not play certain people and he referred to it as a "real game" when MKA dropped look what happens he finds himself once again running to the lag excuses for his reasons of losing and uses UMK3 as a scapegoat claiming a game that came out 11 years ago is better than the current game. When he gets his ass kicked in UMK3 he's going to use another game as a scapegoat I'm guessing MK8 since it hasn't come out yet and no one has played it.

I've played tons of MKA online, and played tons of UMK3 online. UMK3 simply plays better online compared to MKA and is a hell of a lot more balanced.

I will admit though, MKA is definitely more balanced then MKD's joke for a game in terms of "balance".
