I have a similar thread a few notches down. I thought it was dead. my bad.

It would be cool if you had to fight them in Konquest mode to unlock them. Mabye Shujinko could walk up to a hidden character and ask for help in defeating the Dragon King. Then the hidden character could say "Prove to me you are a true warrior, and then I will help you."

If you defeat him, he'll become playable, if you lose he'll just laugh and walk away.

I think there should be at least one hidden character who is only unlockable via GameShark or ActionReplay.

Or by finishing the tournament and only getting flawless victories on the highest difficulty setting (same thing).

While in a fight, you may see someone go running across the board similar to the flying things in MK1 for the pit. You would press a combination of a few buttons or so and then you get to fight him. If you beat him/her they would show up in your player select menu.

Like in another thread. Fight on the prison stage. Back your opponent into the bars and the prisoners would grab him/her for a short period of time, enough time for you to get out like a 7 hit combo and be able to break the bars and let one or two prisoners out. Then you would either have to track them down thoughout the rest of your game or maybe take on a challange from them there. If you beat them they could show up in your char select or tell you a secret of how to find them later.

Unlock characters via Chess Kombat by "capturing pieces".

i like all of your ideas. i like games that u unlock characters by beating the games and i would also prefer a cheat menu that is accessible from a button link code- much like all other mks besides mk:da.

i hope that u can use your saved data from mk:da on your memory to unlock things in mk6. kuz in mk5, i beat konquest, beat the game with every character including blaze and mokap, and i opened every coffin... nothing happened. so i hope that maybe if u have mk:da 100% completed that u can unlock a hidden character (hopefully a new ninja or a badass Fujin)
